November is here and we all have one eye on the shopping prize, and that is the best Black Friday discounts. As a fashion shopping expert, I've been covering Black Friday for four years and it's fair to say I've had a few late nights refreshing Zara's home page to snag some savings on my wish list. So I know a thing or two about sourcing the best Black Friday clothing deals.
While there are definitely some downsides to the panic-shop mentality, if you can stay calm and focused, with the right goals in mind, you can get Black Friday fashion deals beyond your wildest dreams. I have managed to bag some incredible concessions from & Other Stories, Farfetch and Marks and Spencer's over the years. In fact, I wait all year to do my designer dress shopping, and thanks to my sale shopping secrets, I have a wardrobe full of Sister Jane dresses for fancy evenings out.
What date is the Black Friday sale?
Black Friday lands on Friday 29 November this year. But you can expect to see early Black Friday deals as early as November 1. In my experience, fashion brands are far more likely to spread out their sale offerings throughout the month, so expect to see the discounts peak at the end of November.
How do I find the best Black Friday fashion deals?
If you want to save big on your faves, the Grazia fashion team recommend you waste no time bookmarking these three fashion brands: ASOS, Damson Madder and Zara. ASOS offers its highest discounts of the year, peaking at 80% off, and Damson Madder and Zara's Black Friday sale have deals far beyond the low 10-20% off they usually offer. We also have a designer Black Friday sales guide, which you should keep on tab. Keep scrolling for our in-depth analysis of what to expect this Black Friday and help you find those sneaky savings.
Black Friday early deals
While we wait for Black Friday to officially commence, certain fashion brands will start to slowly release discounts. Rather than letting them fly under the radar, here are the brands you'll want to keep an eye on for the best Black Friday early deals now November has arrived.

With significant savings to be had across designer dresses, coats, shoes, bags and accessories, there’s no better time than Black Friday to invest in quality, luxury pieces that will last a lifetime for less than you’d usually pay.
From dresses to jeans, here are the deals you can look forward to
Unique and colourful pieces for half-price
Damson Madder's sale page is already a treasure trove of high-end fashion looks waiting to be bought, but it gets even better on Black Friday, as explained by our trending fashion writer...
Grazia's fashion commerce writer Gemma Lavers loves to shop here during Black Friday, explaining: 'There's no sale I love more than the Damson Madder sale. Its pieces are such great quality and are always super unique, but they're also not the cheapest. A real hack (that I use in the summer and during Black Friday) is to wait until the sales are on to nab the items you've been eyeing up. I've bought dresses, co-ords, and even its best-selling gilets in the sale before, for such a great price. Plus, because they're often such unique and colourful pieces rather than simple basics, for me it justifies paying the price for something that's a little trickier to style.'
Stalwart of British high street fashion
M&S has long been an institution at the pinnacle of the British high street, known for its timeless style, excellent quality and an eye for detail that makes every purchase feel like an investment - even more so if you manage to nab an item in the sale. Plus, its sales are nothing short than a sartorial spectacle, whether you’re after that perfectly tailored coat that will see you through winters to come or a sumptuous cashmere knit that oozes understated elegance.
Grazia's lifestyle commerce writer, Emma Richardson, comments on said sale: 'When it comes to Black Friday, M&S is one of my favourite brands to browse for top deals. This year, I'll be keeping a close eye on their knitwear section, to see if I can snap up a deal or two on some cosy wardrobe staples.'
Shop winter staples under £20
From past experience covering the event, UNIQLO's Black Friday sale means big discounts on its classics such as thermal wear and coats - but while we wait, shop their sales page for some cheeky deals.
Grazia's affiliate business development manager Emily Farquhar reveals: 'I don't usually shop Black Friday online, choosing to shop Black Friday or Christmas discounts in person, back in Australia. However, when I do snag the occasional digital discount deal, it's always on UNIQLO. Whether it’s a merino wool turtle neck or some everyday basics, it’s the one brand I can’t live without.'
Half price on Zara must-haves
Black Friday is the perfect time to finally purchase those saved Zara items. In the meantime, shopping Zara's special prices page can get you up to 50% off.
Grazia's beauty writer Georgia Scott has this to say: 'It goes without saying that I love to shop all year round but Black Friday feels like the only acceptable time when it means I can save some money. I always rely on ASOS to be able to save plenty of money on my saved basket but I do like to run to Zara to hopefully find some of my fave pieces that have made it into the BF sale. I tend to get all my classic blazers in the Zara sale and it's the best for upgrading my wardrobe as we enter into winter.'
Up to 70% off
For ASOS we predict you will see major brands across the website discounted by up to 80% on the day, if previous years are anything to go by. While you wait, check out its year-round outlet sale, with up to 70% off at the moment.
Grazia fashion writer Ruby Barry explains: 'There is a big difference in the quality of the cheaper stuff on ASOS, and the premium clothes, which is why I wait until Black Friday to shop ASOS' high-end brands, such as Free People, Arket and Sister Jane. Then I get next-day delivery on high-end dresses that will keep forever.'
More than half price on shapewear
If you're on the hunt for shapewear, there's no better place than SKIMS. Heralded by Kim K herself, SKIMS has a large Black Friday sale every year, where you can shop more than half price.
Grazia fashion writer Ruby Barry shopped SKIMS last year: 'For Black Friday 2023, my goal was to stock up on a SKIMS collection. Through Grazia's own SKIMS Black Friday Sale guide, I shopped the Seamless Sculpt Bodysuit and the Fits Everybody Lace Bodysuit, both at half-price - and this year I have my eyes on the best-selling Soft Lounge Dress. I'm predicting it'll be discounted to at least £60, if not more.'
Classic boots currently under £70
In my experience, UGG boots go for up to 40% off on the Black Friday weekend, and you can sign up for the newsletter in advance here. For now, shop the outlet sale for classic boots under £70.
Grazia lifestyle writer Samantha Price advises to shop for fashion gifts: 'If I was looking for a Black Friday deal, I'd be looking to higher-quality brands I could gift to my loved ones for Christmas. In past years, I've managed to snap up a deal on UGG slippers that I gifted my mum, using Grazia's own UGG Black Friday sale page. The fact that they're still in near-perfect condition goes to show that being patient, waiting on those bigger brands to drop their deals and investing in higher-quality pieces (if and when you can) really makes all the difference.'
Shop the bestsellers while we wait
Black Friday is practically the only time of year to get Lululemon discounts, as the brand doesn't have an outlet or sales page otherwise. Still, that doesn't stop us from shopping its bestsellers.
Grazia's trending content editor Aimee Jakes has one shopping goal during Black Friday: 'I dream of the day my gym drawer is exclusively stuffed with Lululemon, therefore I am first in line for its Black Friday sale which always has generous discounts on sports bras, relaxed layer and even the signature snuggly coats. Buy your activewear for cheap in November and you'll be feeling extremely smug this January and beyond. I recommend using our Lululemon Black Friday guide as a jumping-off point.'
15% off for members
H&M is a brand that has mastered the art of accessible style, delivering fashion-forward pieces that strike the balance between trend-driven and timeless. Known for their wide-ranging collections that cater to every sartorial whim – from minimalist staples to bold, statement-making outfits – H&M’s sales are a prime opportunity to snap up those coveted pieces at a fraction of the price.
Grazia's fashion commerce writer, Hitanshi Kamdar, says: 'H&M is usually my first port of call when it comes to Black Friday deals. While it’s vast collection always has great wardrobe staples to stock up on, I like keeping an eye on occasion wear to snag some great deals on party dresses as we get closer to the festive season.'
Save on trending cardigans and coats
It's the coat-buying season, and Mango does it best. Mango's Black Friday sale is the perfect excuse to get discounted Mango trenches, as well as the Striped cardigan that's a perfect Chanel dupe.
£100 off when you spend £500
From previous years' experience, I know that Flannels Black Friday sale offers a discount system where you get a certain amount of money off when you spend. For example, £100 when you spend £500, £200 with a thousand, etc.
Lingerie up to 60% off
The November sale period is the ideal time to pick up some new lingerie if your pants are looking a little worse for wear. Boux Avenue's sale page currently has lingerie and pyjamas up to 61% off.
Fashion and homeware on sale
When I shop at Anthropologie, my basket usually ends up filled with chic bolero cardigans, and a dozen Instagrammable coffee mugs. This is especially prevalent on Black Friday, where they're discounted by up to half price.
Discounts on celebrity-approved fashion
Loved by Taylor Swift, Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Florence Pugh, to name but a few, it is fair to say that Reformation's Black Friday sale is an event everyone waits for, with bated breath. It doesn't have a regular sales page, so in the meantime, have a look through the gorgeous new-in collection.
Shop the jewellery advent calendar while we wait
Missoma doesn't have a sales page, so it is a long yearly wait for their Missoma Black Friday sale to roll around. In the meantime, it has recently released the Missoma advent calendar, a highly sort-after treasure trove.
20% off beauty, fashion and homeware
In the build-up to Liberty's Black Friday sale, the Liberty Loyalty Event discounts the Spring promotion items by 20%. I'm especially excited to shop Our Place pans for £104.
Shop designer classics
Black Friday is the one time of year where Net-A-Porter's luxury fashion is prone to lower prices, which is great news if you want to save on Bottega, Saint Laurent, Gucci and more. Read our full Net-A-Porter Black Friday guide here.
How Long Is Black Friday?
Black Friday lasts from the Friday 29th November 2024 to Cyber Monday, on the 2nd December. In total, therefore, the event runs for four days. However, the weeks before Black Friday, you can expect to see early deals creeping in from fashion brands, such as ASOS who we predict will start their early Black Friday sale on the 23rd November. We'll be keeping you up to date here with all the news on starting dates, so make sure to come back for all the updates you need.
Is It Worth Waiting Until Black Friday?
Sure, you'll see fashion deals throughout the year across the online shopping space, but not to the scale of Black Friday. The sales event is a perfect time for brands to get rid of old stock in preparation for the new year, and so the discounts are pushed to the limit - to our advantage. What's more, a lot of fashion brands don't hold sales at all, apart from Black Friday. For example, Lululemon and Reformation don't have dedicated sales pages on their site, so you won't see a sports bra or a dress at any other price than its intended value, apart from Friday the 29th, when they take part in the event.
