I've managed to whittle down my wash days to just twice a week and I've used this as the perfect excuse to get to grips with the tool over the past few months. I apply it to towel dried hair, initially rough-drying and then creating volume at the roots via a combination of tension and heat - I'll hold it in place for around 3 seconds. The ghd straighteners are an iconic hair tool for a reason: they really do work better than any others. I have fine curly hair, so styling it to be straight is usually a real pain. When I use these, however, my hair is sleek and glossy in half the time and it stays like that all day (unless, of course, it rains). One of the most popular setting sprays, this was recommended to me by Aimee Jakes, trending content editor. She said: 'If you want your make-up to stay put all day long, the L'Oreal Infalliable 3-Second Setting Spray is one of the best I've ever tried. It's completely transfer-proof and lightweight, making it the non-negotiable plus one for your upcoming Christmas parties. To caveat, it does initially smell a little like hairspray but I don't mind, it adds nostalgia.'

While I haven't yet tried this product personally, many of my friends have said that it's one of the best cleansers they've tried. One of my friends, who has combination skin, said it's extremely hydrating and leaves skin feeling really smooth and radiant. Grapefruit is rich in vitamin C, which brightens skin, cocoa butter breaks down any build-up of oil while also soothing skin and giving moisture.

This is the kind of product which, once people try it, they don't stop raving about the results. I have talked about this product to anybody who will listen – it's that good. I am extremely lazy when it comes to moisturising. I'm always really good at completing my facial skincare routine but, while I love the idea of being the type of person who has time to shower, moisturise and still be ready on time, I am normally in such a rush I leave the house with wet hair. Thankfully, I found Curél's Moisture Spray, which does exactly what that name would suggest. I really do just spray it lightly all over, rub it in and then I'm ready. I'm really not exaggerating when I say that I can't live without this foundation. I mean, obviously I could, but I wouldn't want to go anywhere because it makes my skin look about 400 times better than usual. I have used this product for years – I live in fear of it ever being discontinued – and, while I've been lucky enough to try countless luxury foundations for my job, I've never found one I like more than this. I know this isn't the sexiest of beauty buys but I have to tell you it's saved my skin, so any time there's an offer on, I will take advantage.
