With summer fast approaching, we're most excited for the outfits ahead of festival season - Coachella, Pride and of course...Notting Hill Carnival! In the heart of West London, the two-day annual event is taking place on 27-28 August 2023. And before you know it, shiny floats and colourful feathers will be filling the streets to celebrate Caribbean culture and unity.

What ever day you pick to go, this event is all about fabulously fun outfits. Just about anything goes - as long as it's summer-ready and vibrant. Want to wear the miniest of mini skirts? A bikini? Go for it. Keep scrolling for outfits that will have you stand out in the parade!

Knitted Set

Knit and crocheted items are having a moment now (Maya Jama wore an amazing two-piece on this year's Love Island). This his look just screams summer and holiday vibes.

Flowy Mini Dress

With temperatures potentially hitting the 30s, a light flowy dress is sometimes all you need. You can style yours with some sandals or some cute flats to channel the balletcore aesthetic. Olivia's outfit is giving Y2K - and we are here for it.

Oversized Shirt

The best thing Havana's look is that when it gets cooler in the evening you will still be warm. Pair your shirt with a funky bikini and colourful bottoms.

Romper

If you're after a simple vibe, a romper will always do the trick. Complete your outfit with some retro accessories like Edie.

Top And Parachute Pants

Carnival is a whole day affair and you'll most likely be walking the streets of London for hours. A good pair of parachute pants and trainers will be the gift that keeps on giving where your feet are concerned!

Something Sheer

As we said before, anything goes at Carnival! And this monochromatic look Ell is rocking is fit for the occasion. It combines texture and print - plus you'll be able to dance in this all day.

Float-Worthy

If you're on a float this year, a costume is what you should be considering. Covered head to toe in diamonds and feathers, Lauren looks totally Carnival-ready.
