Made In Chelsearoyalty Binky Felstead, Rosie Fortescueand Lucy Watson are to return to screens in a new spin-off reality show. After six years on the show, Binky, 34, left in 2017 after welcoming her daughter India, now seven, who she shared with former co-star and ex-boyfriend Josh ‘JJ’ Patterson. She is now marriedto businessman Max Fredrik Darnton, and they have sons Wolfie, three, and one-year-old Wilder.
‘A lot has changed since I first joined Made In Chelsea 14 years ago as one of the original cast members,’ she said. ‘I've moved out of Chelsea, married my wonderful husband, and welcomed three beautiful children. I'm incredibly proud of Beyond Chelsea – a project I've been passionate about doing for a long time. After conversations with the girls and my MIC family at Monkey and Channel 4, everyone gave it a resounding yes!’
Binky explained, ‘The series reflects where I am in life now, whilst still giving a nod to the original show. It's so exciting to see it all finally come together.’
Rosie, 34, quit Made In Chelsea in 2014 to focus on her jewellery business. ‘I never thought I’d be back on camera, but I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to film with my best friend, set some records straight and open up my life a little more than I did in the past,’ she said of the new show.
Lucy, 33, exited the show in 2016 so she could enjoy her relationship with James Dunmore away from the cameras. The couple married in September 2021 and welcomed their son Willoughby in March.
‘After leaving Made in Chelsea, I never imagined returning to reality TV,’ she said. ‘However, after eight years it turns out I actually quite miss it! I’m excited to be a part of a new show, albeit nervous to share so much about my life once again.’
When will Beyond Chelsea air?
Beyond Chelsea will air on E4 and be available to stream on Channel 4 in October.
Will the original cast get back together for a Made In Chelsea reunion?
Binky spoke of wanting to create a 'Mummys of Chelsea' spin-off in the past.
‘I always get asked “Is there going to be an OG reunion?” and people saying they would like to see the old cast back together,’ she revealed.
‘Me, Louise and Rosie are still super close, we always make time for each other for our girly lunches and dinners. We're like family. We have filmed the ups and downs of our lives together for the past decade and when we get together, if the walls could talk…’
What other Made In Chelsea spin-offs are there?
Ahead of the new series of MIC starting shortly, fans can get their fix with Made In Bondi featuring Miles Nazaire and Tristan Phipps as they head Down Under. There’s also a rumoured Netflix spin-off with Binky and Rosie alongside Ollie and Gareth Locke-Locke, Louise Thompson, Sophie Hermann, Olivia Bentley and Tabitha Willett.
