Yes, we are fully aware that summer has only just given up the ghost and that it is far, far too early to start thinking about advent calendars, but when beauty brands are teasing us with an array of covetable festive launches (all of which will doubtless sell out before we’ve seen the back of Halloween), it’s hard not to get caught up in the hype.
The latest launch to pique our interest is The Beauty Countdown, a calendar from Estée Lauder which features an array of products from an array of our favourite brands in the Lauder stable: think cult haircare from bumble and bumble, multi-tasking make-up from Bobbi Brown and Clinique, party season essentials from MAC and skincare from Origins. Packaged in a stylish star-shaped box, this limited edition release marks the first time that all your favourite Estée brands have appeared in one multi-brand calendar.
Priced at £125 but worth around £197, only 1,000 calendars have been produced. They’ll be landing in October, and Estée Lauder will announce an exact launch date in due course.
