Harvey Armstrong has announced he is leaving Made in Chelsea after five years on the E4 reality show.

The reality star-cum-entrepreneur, 30, told MailOnline, 'As much as I love Made In Chelsea and have had some amazing years, it has a shelf life, and the time has come for me to leave the show. There's a lot of emotional bandwidth that goes with filming your life for TV and it's a distraction and can be very draining. I have to clear my head.

'Being a businessman has always been my goal and building up my company, Prime Time has fully taken off and now needs my full attention.' Harvey added that he can't be a 'CEO and founder with 12 staff members' while his love life plays out on TV.

And that it did. Fans will recall that Harvey joined the cast of Made in Chelsea in 2019 as Sophie Habboo's ex-boyfriend, before he struck up a romance with her (now-former) best friend, Emily Blackwell. They split in 2021 after Harvey was unfaithful, prompting a heartbroken Emily to label him a 'lying piece of f**king shit’ in scenes aired on the show. Now happily engaged and raising a daughter, Eva, with fiancé Jordan Alexander, Emily told OK! in 2022, 'I have no hard feelings towards Harvey at all. I wish him nothing but the absolute best because we’re all human, we all make mistakes and I definitely think I was his mistake. He regrets it now, and it will be a good learning lesson for him.

'If you look at the bigger picture, I’m so happy now and in something so much more suited to me. Thank god all that did happen… in the weirdest way. So, I actually thank him. I’m like "thanks!" because I’m so much happier now with the right person.'

Following his split from Emily, Harvey briefly dated Willow Day, but was most recently in a relationship with Zeyno Taylan. They had a tumultuous, on-off journey shown in recent instalments of Made in Chelsea, which ended for good last series with Zeyno admitting she was falling in love with Harvey, only for her feelings to be unreciprocated.

He told her, 'We have been hurting each other through this process of not being together and it's been messy from the moment we ended things and the way it ended… I have got that in my head and that's the decision I have made.'

He is now thought to be single, but what with his thriving beer business, we don't think he'll be sat twiddling his thumbs.
