This season of Selling Sunset might have been the most drama filled one yet. We went a rollercoaster with Chrishell StauseandJason Oppenheim's relationship and of course, Christine Quinn was at the centre of many a drama. Naturally, Netflix have capitalised on this and have filmed a season five reunion. Season 5 was left on a cliffhanger as SPOILER Jason was debating on firing Christine.
However, it appears Christine was not present at the reunion special and will not be a part of it. As the most controversial cast member fans will be disappointed that she wasn't in attendance.
A source toldEntertainment Tonightthat Christine tested positive for COVID-19, and that while production offered her an opportunity to attend virtually, she wasn't feeling well enough to do so. Selling Sunset co-star Amanza Smith also tested positive for COVID-19 but attended the reunion special virtually.
The source said, 'The Selling Sunset reunion was super heated and overall emotional. Christine really wanted to be there and was feeling ready to address everything head on and face the music.' They continued, 'She was looking forward to having her moment. Unfortunately, it just boiled down to a matter of her health. She was extremely sick. '
The source also teased fans on what fans have to look forward to during the reunion. 'It was also a very difficult day for Jason and Chrishell,' the source said. 'They're both still very raw from their breakup and it wasn't easy reuniting. A lot happened between them and it will be discussed in great detail.'
Although Christine was not in attendance it looks like we still have a very tense and juicy reunion to look forward to. Chrishell Stause shared her thoughts on Instagram after filming the special last weekend. She said, 'Longest day everrrr. Just headed home now. Feel like I got spat out of a tornado. I love our crazy family though.' We can't wait!
Selling Sunset's reunion episode airs 7 May on Netflix
