After months of waiting, Hailey Bieber’s debut skincare brand Rhode has finally launched and it’s selling out already.
Hailey is clearly aware of the challenges she faces launching another celebrity beauty brand and that’s clear from the brand’s messaging.
Rhode’s motto is “A new philosophy on skincare” with a focus on simplicity, affordability, and transparency.
Sticking with that focus on simplicity, Rhode has launched with just three products, which Hailey calls your “skincare closet”.
First there is the Peptide Glazing Fluid which is a gel serum designed to hydrate skin and give that glazed doughnut effect Hailey loves.
Next is the Barrier Restore Cream which is described as a rich but lightweight cream moisturiser designed to protect that all important skin barrier.Finally, the product that everyone seems particularly desperate to get their hands on is the Peptide Lip Treatment which promises naturally plump, pillowy-soft lips. It’s also the perfect product for recreating the current gym lips trend.
Available in three scents: watermelon slice, salted caramel and unscented, watermelon slice is already sold out.
It’s not the only sell out product either, both the Peptide Glazing Fluid and the Barrier Restore Cream are now waitlist only, which is pretty impressive for a debut launch.
With prices ranging from $16 to $29 (that’s £13 - £24) it looks like Hailey really has found the sweet spot on affordability and covetable products.
Sadly for us however, the brand isn’t yet available in the UK. Here’s hoping we don’t have long to wait.
