Despite Netflix sadly revealing that we won't be seeing Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery on our screens until next year, with every week that passes they've been teasing us with cast lists, behind-the-scenes secrets and first looks in order to build up the suspense. And boy is it working!

The most exciting news from set so far? The suggestion that Josh O'Connor of The Crown and Challengers fame will be following in Andrew Scott's footsteps and playing a hot priest. Judging from the reactions on X to the on-set images, fans are delighted by the casting.

Safe to say the cast of Knives Out 3 is just as killer as the plot threatens to be. Now, whilst we don't know the names of any characters, some major A-listers have been cast in the film.

We're talking Ripley and Fleabag's Andrew Scott, the previously mentioned Josh O’Connor, Priscilla's Cailee Spaeny, Kerry Washington, Jeremy Renner, Josh Brolin, Thomas Haden Church and Bad Sisters' Daryl McCormack. Blimey!

Of course, we can't forget leading man Daniel Craig - who will reprise his role as detective Benoit Blanc.

In fact, Netflix have teased Daniel Craig's return with a black and white first-look image of him in character as the iconic detective, complete with an incredible new haircut.

Has Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery started filming?

Director Rian Johnson revealed that production on Knives Out 3 began in late May. The third instalment was written by Rian Johnson and will be produced by Ram Bergman, both of whom worked on the first two films.
