Two years after their reunion during Casa Amor melted our hearts, Love Island's Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble have split. And for good this time.
In a statement posted to her Instagram Molly shared, ‘I just want to confirm the rumours. Myself and Zac have split up and are no longer together.
Why have Molly and Zach split?
‘We have parted ways as friends and thank you for all your love and support of our relationship over the past 2 years.’
And as to why Molly and Zac have split? A source close to the former couple explained, ‘Nothing bad has happened between Zac and Molly. They just made the decision to split on a mutual basis. The pair have no bad blood between them and will continue to be friends.
‘Sometimes relationships work, and sometimes they don’t but they want to continue to be friends and cherish the couple of years they have spent together and are both grateful for Love Island bringing them into each others lives.’

That news sadly means that no couple from Love Island 2023 are still together. Winners Sammy Root and Jess Harding? Over before they’d even begun. Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki? A devastating split in April. Ella Thomas and Tyrique Hyde? They only lasted until the start of 2024.
For Molly and Zac, the split really does seem to be amicable. There’s been no scrubbing of social media, no bad mouthing. We love to see it - maybe Molly was actually telling the truth when she said that the pair were still friends.
In the comments of Molly’s latest Instagram reel, fans shared their sadness for the news. One follower wrote, ‘So sad to hear about you and Zac… thought you’d be the next Olivia and Alex’ to which another commented, ‘I literally thought the next step was engagement - deffo a reality check today. Hoping they both find their happiness whatever that is - Blessings for both!’
For her part, Molly seems to be getting through the break-up by keeping her girls close and travelling the world - heading to see Ed Sheeran perform in Hamburg, Germany as well as enjoying the sun in Tuscany and Barcelona.
Zac meanwhile has been working hard in the gym and spending time with his and Molly’s shared pup Scooby.
Yep, not only were Zac and Molly living together as of August 2024, but in October they adopted a Doberman called Scooby.
But the pair did split seven months into their relationship after being unable to make long distance and life outside the villa work, so maybe we’ll have another reunion on our hands soon.
