Victoria Beckham has always been an advocate of the dress. When her pop star bandmates were wearing crop tops, tracksuits bottoms and platform trainers, VB was styling out spaghetti-strapped LBDs. In the early Noughties, it was bandage minis à la Hervé Léger. And now? VB lives in her label's slinky slip dresses. For proof that they're the most versatile style in her wardrobe (and yours) for summer 2022, the designer just wore one to a salt mine, the left-field location for yesterday's Jacquemus show.
Choosing a style from her latest collection - pre-spring/summer 2023, arriving in-store and online in November - VB looked impossibly chic in top-to-toe black, wearing a cropped tuxedo jacket, a pair of skin-tight thigh-high boots and a lace slip dress. 'The salt mine is my runway!' she posted after the show, adding 'Kisses from Arles!!'
She's also given the slip a green light for wedding guest season, wearing a spectacular silver style to her son's Miami nuptials earlier this year (and dressing several other attendees in floor-sweeping designs).
