We love the innovation behind this bikini as ECONYL is basically an eco-friendly nylon that's made from waste (like fabric scraps and fishing nets) that would otherwise pollute landfills or oceans. Adding to its charm, the strap and bow sides are adorned with beads, giving the swimwear a more whimsical (and luxe) feel.
What style of bikini is trending this year?
This year, the bikini styles that are making waves are those with vibrant patterns and sustainable materials. High-waisted bottoms and one-shoulder tops offer both a retro vibe and a flattering fit so expect to see lots of those. Bold colours and eye-catching prints (including our favourite leopard) are also stealing the spotlight, ensuring your swimwear stands out.
How do I choose a style of bikini to suit my body type?
Choosing the best bikini for you can make all the difference in how confident you feel when strutting down the beaches (or even just in your very own garden) this summer. If you have a fuller bust, your best bet is to opt for balconette tops and bikinis with underwiring for added support. Halter tops are also good at providing a little bit of lift too.
For smaller busts or individuals who want a bit of oomph in their bikini, triangle tops, bandeaus with embellishments and tops with bold prints or crinkle textures can create the illusion of a fuller chest.
If you have a more athletic shape and are wanting to accentuate that, bikinis with ruffles, fringing and bold prints will look great and add a little feminine flair to your shape. Alternatively, if you prefer a more flattering fit, high-waisted bottoms should be your go-to.
After all, why not have fun with different styles this summer - and buy them all!
