Sienna Miller's boho goddess brand of dressing - the coin belts, the cowboy boots! - left a distinct impression on anyone who came of age in the early '00s. So imagine their delight when at last season's Paris Fashion Week, wearing a pair of wedges, no less, Sienna Miller revived the boho-luxe look that helped to define a generation of wardrobes. I know!
That was in February. Fast-forward to May - and tonight's Met Gala - and she's done it again with the label whose show she attended in Paris: Chloé. With a new creative director at the helm Chemena Kamali, who has spent a large part of her career at the Maison (under Phoebe Philo, then Clare Waight Keller), the brand is most definitely selling boho to entirely new crowd, as well as encouraging those of us who remember the hallmarks from the first time round to dig them out.
But back to the Met Gala. Kamali attended with her very own bevy of boho goddesses - Emma Mackey, Greta Gerwig, Zoe Saldana and, of course, Sienna Miller, who wore a white lace gown that was high-necked, full-sleeved and frothy with the beach-waved hair that's always been a signature. As well as being a boho girl, she's always been loyal to Chloé, accessorising her outfits with one of its studded clutch purses for much of the early '00s - and wearing its gowns on the red carpet as far back as 2004, the year our fascination with all things boho started in earnest.
Zoe Saldana, meanwhile, wore a slip-style dress that was tantalisingly sheer with thigh-high suede boots and a belt spelling Chloé. Holding hands with Emma Mackey, who was wearing exactly the same pair of boots and her own diaphanous gown, there's just one thing left to say. We'll have what they're having.
