Picture the scene. You're off to school in the 2000s, but which bag to pick? A Jane Norman tote bag? A sporty little nylon drawstring? A heavily embellished Paul's Boutique number? Or what about, dare we say it, a Bench bag?

The height of casual couture (ish) Bench brought us the hoodies that zipped in your whole face, plenty of logo T-shirts and, of course, those rectangular leather cross-body bags. All with a less than subtle logo emblazoned across the front. If the brand in question had slipped from your mind over the past couple of decades, then don't worry, Bella Hadid has brought it back on the scene.

Stepping out last month, the supermodel donned a chic little black cross-body from none other than '00s label Bench. Paired perfectly with baggy jeans, Doc Martens and a hair bandana (another nostalgic moment) in an outfit that seemed to be plucked straight from the early 2000s.

So, is Bench the next nostalgic brand to do a Miss Sixty make a Gen-Z comeback? With TikTok's obsession with supersized denim flares, scarf tops and butterfly clips, we certainly think so. It won't surprise you that there are plenty of Bench bags cropping up across Depop and eBay - so have a root round in the back of your cupboards because Bench is back.

Bella has spoken.
