Honestly, it’s not always easy to keep up with the Kardashians. Undoubtedly the most famous family ever to emerge from the realm of reality television, the clan has come to dominate the world of fashion, beauty, social media and brand endorsement, making millions in the process (and in the case of some of them, billions).
And whilst building their empire, along the way they’ve somehow found the time to add some mini Kar-Jenners to the mix. With so many of them running around and more being added every single year, we’re in need of an easy explainer.
So let’s start with the basics. Kris Jenner – momager supreme – has six children. Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob were the result of her first marriage to the late Robert Kardashian, with Kylie and Kendall Jenner the offspring of Kris and ex Caitlyn. But then come the many, many grandkids.
Kourtney Kardashian-Barker’s children
Kourtney, the eldest of Kris’s children, has three kids with ex-partner Scott Disick. Mason Dash Disick, 13, was born on December 14th, 2009. His birth was actually filmed and aired on the original Keeping Up With The Kardashians (remember that moment Kourtney literally pulled him out of herself? Impressive).
Her daughter Penelope Scotland Disick, 11, often nicknamed P, followed on July 8th, 2012. Of course, her birth was also filmed and aired across the world.
Reign Aston Disick, eight, arrived on December 14th 2014, which means he actually shares a birthday with elder brother Mason!
Trailers for the final season of the original Keeping Up With The Kardashians show did tease that Kourtney and Scott was pregnant with a fourth child (despite being separated), however that ended up all just being a bit of a joke.
But the star is about to add a fourth baby to her brood. After marrying Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker last year, the couple are due their first child together any day now! Although they haven't revealed too many details about the baby, they have announced that they'll be having a son - and fans already have plenty of theories about the name.
Of course, this won't be Travis's first child. He is already dad to son Landon, 19, and daughter Alabama, 17, from a previous marriage to Shanna Moakler, making Kourt a proud step-mum of two!
Travis is also very close to his stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 24 - who was Shanna's eldest child from a previous marriage - after having raised her as his own.
Kim Kardashian’s children
Kim has four children, all with ex-husband Kanye West.
Daughter North West, 10, was born on June 15th, 2013, before son Saint West, seven, came on December 5th, 2015. For Kim, she suffered from difficult pregnancies having suffered from preeclampsia - leading to doctors advising the star not to get pregnant again.
Daughter Chicago West, five, arrived in January 15th 2018, via surrogate. Nicknamed 'Chi', she's named after Kanye’s beloved home city. And finally, youngest son Psalm West, four, joined the family – again via surrogate – on May 9th 2019.
Khloe Kardashian’s children
Khloe’s route to motherhood was longer than that of her elder sisters, with the star often expressing her sadness at her difficulties getting pregnant with ex husband Lamar Odom, 43.
In April 2018, she finally welcomed daughter True, five, with Tristan Thompson - but it was far from an easy pregnancy. Khloe faced heartbreak after being rocked by multiple cheating claims in the lead-up to True's birth. The pair gave things another shot after the birth of their daughter, before it was alleged that Tristan had once again cheated on Khloe with Kylie Jenner's best friend, Jordyn Woods.
An in a tumultuous turn of events, it was revealed that Tristan had fathered another child with personal trainer Maralee Nichols - with the heartbreaking moment Khloe found out aired on reality show The Kardashians.
What fans didn't know was that the couple were months away from welcoming another child together via surrogacy. In Season 2 of The Kardashians, Khloe revealed that Tristan had known about the potential paternity scandal before the couple's surrogacy journey had advanced - even encouraging the star to go through with the embryo transfer.
In July 2022, the couple welcomed their son Tatum to the world. Despite admitting she initially found it tough to bond with the newborn, Khloe celebrated his first birthday with a post that read, 'I am a firm believer that God gives you what you need, and I needed you. God knew my heart needed you.'
Rob Kardashian's children
Rob has not pursued the limelight in the same way as his sisters, but the sole Kardashian son has popped up on the family reality show over the year. The star also had his own fly-on-the-wall show with ex-partner Blac Chyna (who just so happened to share a son with Kylie Jenner's ex-boyfriend, Tyra.)
Rob and Chyna had been engaged for just a month when they announced they were expecting. Their daughter Dream, six, was born November 10th, 2016.
Kylie Jenner's children
The youngest of the clan, Kylie has who children with rapper Travis Scott. Their daughter Stormi Webster was born after months of rumours of a pregnancy, with Kylie concealing her baby joy until confirming she was a mum on February 4th 2018.
And in February 2022, the couple welcomed a son to the world. The baby was initially named Wolf, until Kylie later revealed that the pair had changed the youngster's name to Aire.
Travis and Kylie had a pretty on-off relationship over the years - now co-parenting the two toddlers.
Kendall Jenner's children
Kendall Jenner is the only Kar-Jenner without children - although it doesn't mean she hasn't added some grandchildren of sorts to the family.
During a sneak preview of The Kardashians season 3 episode 4, Kendall appeared to drop a bombshell when asked by producers, 'How's the pregnancy going?'
There was a pregnancy involved, but it certainly wasn't Kendall's. In fact, it was actually her horse.
Kendall has opened up in front of camera's about the idea of her own human baby. After mum Kris told her that is might be time to start thinking about having babies, Kendall said 'I still have a lot to figure out before I can welcome a child into my life. I'm still enjoying life on my own, and I'm okay with that right now.'
