Wait, Did Selling Sunset’s Emma Hernan Really Match With Ben Affleck On A Dating App?

Selling Sunsetseason five dropped on Netflix last Friday, and naturally we have already binge watched the whole thing. As usual the season is full of glamour, luxury homes and of course, drama. The internet has many opinions already about the storylines - are you team Chrishell or Christine? Are you siding with Davina or new girl Chelsea ? The list goes on!

However, one revelation that had the internet speculating all weekend comes from a shocking dating confession fromEmma Hernan. During the fifth episode titled 'Do You Think We're Friends?', Emma revealed to Chrishell Stause that Ben Affleck matched with her on dating app Raya (Raya Is like Tinder but a lot more exclusive). She claims this happened 'right before' he got back together with Jennifer Lopez– juicy!

Whilst Emma and Chrishell were catching up after viewing another luxury home, Emma blurted out that The Justice League actor messaged her. 'He may or may not have been texting me,’ she claimed. Emma continued, ‘We have the Boston connection, so that was his opening pick-up line, I was like, casual, I was like, "Oh, I don't know who that is."'

In fact she said that the actor was pretty persistent in his pursuit for a date. 'He may or may not have asked to grab coffee a few times,' she explained, adding: 'I didn't go.' We find it very hard to believe anyone would actually turn down Ben Affleck, but each to their own!

Chrishell joked that Emma 'could've foiled Bennifer'. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez got back together in 2021 and got engaged earlier this month for the second time. Naturally, Emma's revelations has caused a stir online and Ben's representative's have responded.

Ben's representatives have denied that the pair talked on the app, issuing a statement to PEOPLEthat reads ,'Raya has confirmed that he has not been an active member for several years.' Furthermore, a representative for Emma told PEOPLE that the interaction she detailed to Chrishell on the Selling Sunset actually took place in 2019.
