One of the world's most iconic beauty brands, NARS is loved by countless A-listers, make-up artists and beauty editors alike for it's high-performing formulations that deliver long-lasting results.
Landing on our shelves back in 1994, NARS is the brainchild of photographer and make-up artist François Nars, whose vision was to create a range of make-up that encouraged individuality and self-expression. What started as a collection of 12 lipsticks quickly turned into a beauty empire with over 600 products in 50 different categories including foundation, bronzer, blusher and highlighter. Nowadays, you’d be hard pressed to find a backstage beauty kit or celebrity make-up bag without a NARS cult classic inside.
Speaking of cult classics, in 1999 the brand launched the infamous Orgasm Blusher, £26 - a product that went on to sell one every minute worldwide, whilst counting Meghan Markle, Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence as fans. Then there’s the Radiant Creamy Concealer, £24.50, (a make-up artist must-have) and the Sheer Glow Foundation, £35, (which had us hooked on that glow-y second skin finish from the get-go). ‘Foundation is the key to modern make-up, by balancing colour without masking, skin looks flawless and healthy. NARS is about translucent–looking skin,’ says François.
Whether you’re already obsessed with NARS or are yet to try this legendary make-up brand, we’ve rounded up our Beauty Team's edit of the very best NARS products to snap up now.

Best Nars Beauty Products
Nars Bronzing Powder in Laguna, £30
'This bronzing powder has been a key product in my make-up bag for well over a decade. With a pleasingly matte finish, it dishes out a natural-looking, sun-baked bronze without fail and it lasts for AGES. I buff mine on with a big fluffy bronzing brush, working in a shape of 3 from my temples, under my cheekbones and along my jaw. It's a cult classic for a reason.' Joely Walker, Health & Beauty Director
NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer in Custard, £24
'One of my all-time desert island products. I have gone through countless tubs of this small but oh-so mighty concealer. Brilliant coverage with zero caking, it covers up any redness (I have rosacea) and lasts a full day without smudging. I apply mine with a fluffy foundation brush, working it in for a second-skin finish. It's amazing at covering breakouts, too.' Joely Walker, Health & Beauty Director
NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation, £37
'This does exactly what it says on the tin. Delivering long-wearing, medium coverage and a hint of natural-looking glow, it's a brilliant base for summer.' Joely Walker, Health & Beauty Director
NARS The Multiple in Orgasm, £30
'An absolute cult classic! This iconic blush shade in powder form is a make-up bag staple for the A-list likes of Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone and even Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex! Back in her Suits days the then actress spoke to Beauty Banter and credited it with giving her a 'perfect rosy flush.' I'm a long-time cream blush devotee so it's the stick version that hits the mark for me.' Annie Vischer, Beauty Editor
NARS Afterglow Lip Balm in Orgasm, £23
'OK, spotting a pattern here? Yes, I'm slightly obsessed with this racy colourway. I'm also more than slightly obsessed with lip balms so this product is a match made in heaven for me! It's infused with NARS' signature monoi hydrating blend and serves up a non-sticky dose of nourishment and leaves my lips coated in a subtle, glistening sheen. Search my pockets on any given day and you'll always find this gem.' Annie Vischer, Beauty Editor
NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment, £23
'I adore a liquid lipstick, and this is my absolute go-to. Pigment-rich and ultra-comfortable, the lightweight liquid glides on with the skinny brush that makes precision a total doddle. The result? A stamped-on, powder matte lip. Try Walk This Way, a rose pink for day and Under My Thumb, a deep burgundy for night.' Emma Stoddart, Senior Beauty Writer
NARS Euphoria Face Dew, £25
'New in from Nars, this really is an outstanding glow-giver. It imparts the sort of healthy, hydrated sheen one would expect from a souped-up serum. Sparkle-free and totally translucent, I like to wear it over make-up or pressed onto bare skin for a luminous, glassy finish.' Emma Stoddart, Senior Beauty Writer
NARS Air Matte Lip Colour, £23
'I love liquid lipsticks for their sheer staying power, but can often find matte formulas far too dry. This air matte colour really is cloud soft, gliding on like a balm but with the pigment and resilience of a lipstick (I can confirm it is also tough enough to withstand face masks). One coat is a lightweight, subtle colour, or build up to a creamy, vibrant colour that packs a punch.' Remy Farrell, Fashion & Beauty Assistant
NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser, £33
'After a year of going relatively foundation free, I'm not quite ready to revert back to the full coverage I opted for before. Pure Radiance tinted moisturiser is like my skin, only with a little enhancement, and the hydrating vitamin C coupled with SPF keeps my skin protected while letting it breathe. A new make-up bag mainstay.' Remy Farrell, Fashion & Beauty Assistant
