There's no telling which products will go viral on TikTok, but when one does, good luck getting your hands on it.
That's what happened when Maddison Beer used Charlotte Tilbury's Light Wand in Pinkgasm in her Vogue Beauty Secrets video on YouTube. The teen star - Gen Z's poster girl for fresh, minimalist, make-up - sang the blusher's praises in the video: 'People always ask me what product I'd use for the rest of my life,' said Beer. 'It would 100% be this.'
High praise. And you can see why Beer loves it so much: the cream texture delivers enviable glow and colour, all in one swipe. See the subtle pink sheen on her cheeks?
Blushers are a competitive field indeed, and rightly so: the right colour can perk up tired skin and pull a look together, pronto. NARS' Orgasm shade has long been an authority in the blusher arena for this reason - the peachy-pink, flecked with a hint of gold, suits most skin tones and puts colour back into the skin. No wonder Meghan Markle is such a fan.
It only took Beer's make-up video to propel Pinkgasm into the TikTok stratosphere. People couldn't get enough of the texture (creamy and blendable), the rosy coral tone and dewy finish. It's unsurprising, then, that one sells every eight seconds around the globe, making it the best selling liquid blush in the world. That's quite the accolade.
It comes into its own for its texture and finish. Is it a blusher? Is it a highlighter? Apparently, it's both. The brand calls it a highlighter-blush which seems pretty spot-on. The finish is dewy, and gives a real luminosity to the skin. In Beer's video, she applies a finishing powder over the top, to dial down the luminosity a touch. That will also serve to really lock the colour in, too.
Dreamy indeed. It's quite often out of stock, but fear not: the brand has restocks often. You can shop Pinkgasm below.
