West Side Story's Rachel Zegler debuted a jaw-skimming bob complete with that 60s flip at the Oscars, Billie Eilish flipped her jet black ends at the Grammys and Ariana Grande has been wearing the style non-stop while filming The Voice USA. Zendaya wore the hers at the Valentino show during Paris fashion week.

'The style was made popular by the ultimate style heroines of the 60s,' explains Larry, 'like Jackie Kennedy and Mary Tyler. They defined the decade. Global superstars like Diana Ross and The Supremes sported a version of the style too.'
How To Style The Flip At Home
'It's a great, fresh way to style a bob,' says Larry. 'It works well with anything jaw to shoulder length. It's a simple styling trick that can refresh a cut and make it appear fresh and new.'
Larry recommends a few key players to create the flicky, upward ends. 'Apply My Nanna's Mousse, £19, to wet hair. Smooth the hair out with a good blow dry, using a round brush. Work the hair into either a neat centre or side parting, using the round brush to flick the ends upwards.'
