Throughout this awards season, Lady Gaga has won hearts - and our admiration - even if she failed to clinch an award for her performance in House of Gucci. Despite being snubbed altogether when it came to an Oscar nom, she threw herself into presenting duties (and created the night's sweetest moment, whispering 'I got you' to her co-presenter Liza Minnelli - in stark contrast to the behaviour of some other attendees that night). She championed the hair and make-up nominees from House of Gucci on the BAFTA red carpet.
To top it all off, at last night's Grammys, Gaga rushed to help singer SZA - who was there on crutches - with the train of her dress as she took to the stage. What a good egg.
It followed an emotional live performance at the awards, in which she paid tribute to singer Tony Bennett, who officially retired last year. Gaga and Bennet were nominated for five Grammys including album of the year for their second collaborative album, Love for Sale, and record of the year for I Get a Kick Out of You. The pair won Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album, taking Gaga's total Grammy wins to 13.
Bennett did not attend the Grammy's but introduced his 'friend, Lady Gaga' in a pre-taped message. Gaga performed a solo version of Love For Sale and Do I Love You, while a video of her and Bennett played in the background. She ended with a personal message: 'I love you, Tony, I miss you.' Cue a standing ovation from the audience - and lots of glistening eyes.
Finally, Gaga got her moment.
