As someone who has been part of the Made in Chelsea cast for nearly ten years, Tiffany Watson is used to sharing parts of her life with fans, and her motherhood journey has been no different.

Since marrying Northampton Town footballer Cameron McGeehan in 2022 and welcoming their first child, a son called Jude, a year later, her life has become less about swilling drinks in Raffles and more about leaning into her new role as a parent. ‘Life has changed in every single way since becoming a mum,’ Tiffany admits, as Jude waddles around in the background of our call. ‘We don’t have any help and I’m still working, but I’m also a full-time mum. I’m trying to balance everything because Jude is my priority and always will be, but I also don’t want to stop working.’

When she found out she was pregnant, Tiffany imagined having a full-time nanny or sending Jude to nursery but says, ‘Once he was born, I just thought I want to be doing this. I don’t want to miss a second. It’s hard, but I know it’s going to go so quickly, and I want to be the one who’s with him.’

Understandably, her lifestyle has become less compatible with the show. Stable, off-screen relationships and parenting duties are not Made in Chelsea’s usual fodder after all. ‘I’ve dipped in and out since Jude was born and done a few things. I wouldn’t commit to doing it full-time because I think I have moved on from what the show focuses on – dating drama and going out a lot,’ Tiffany admits. ‘I’ve got a very different lifestyle now, but I would always be open to doing new reality TV things.’

Perhaps, as a close friend of Liv Bentley and Binky Felstead – who recently shared pictures on Instagram tagging Netflix, with ‘coming soon’ as the caption – she can shed light on the rumoured ‘Mums of Chelsea’ spin-off starring former cast members. ‘Is that actually a thing?’ Tiff asks, bursting our bubble. ‘Apparently that was a prank. They’d all had some drinks and thought it would be funny.’

Alas. The spin-off might not be off the ground, but Tiffany says she’d definitely be interested if it was. Especially since several former MIC stars, including Tiffany, Binky, Millie Mackintosh, Louise Thompson, Victoria Baker-Harber, Ollie Locke, Spencer Matthews, Cheska Hull and Tiffany’s sister, Lucy Watson, are all parents now. And there’s no doubt fans who watched them grow up on the show would be interested to see how their lives have changed.

This is something Tiffany knows first-hand, having shared her difficult journey to becoming a mother after suffering a miscarriage during an episode in April 2022. Two and a half years later, she still receives messages from viewers who have been through a similar experience and appreciate her vulnerability. ‘It can be such a taboo subject and people keep really quiet about it,’ Tiffany reflects. ‘I think the more people speak about it, the more people realise how common it is and that you’re not alone in that situation. It was a brave thing for me to share because I can be quite private about personal things and sweep them under the carpet, but I’m glad I did it. To this day I get messages from women saying it helped them and that means a lot.’

It's one of the many reasons Tiffany has chosen to keep fans updated on her life as a new mum on social media. ‘Before Jude was born, people asked if I was going to share his face on social media and I was like yeah, I am. Both me and Cameron don’t have a problem with that, and I’ve always been open with sharing my life pre-Jude, what I get up to, relationships, houses and things like that, so it was a natural progression to share my motherhood journey.’

The same goes for her sister Lucy who had her first child Willoughby with her husband and former co-star James Dunmore in March. Having just returned from their first family holiday with both babies in tow, Tiffany is incredibly grateful that their sons are so close in age. ‘It was the first time Willoughby and Jude have spent a long period of time together. It was so cute and I know it’s going to get better. Jude is obsessed with Willoughby and when they’re older we can do sleepovers at each other’s houses and stuff. I’m really grateful that we’re in it at the same time.’

As fans witnessed on the E4 show, Lucy and Tiffany have always been incredibly close and share a lot of the same friends – as well as many of the same values, particularly when it comes to veganism and sustainability. Aware that her following has come to include lots of new parents, as well people who share these same principles, Tiffany has partnered with Their Future, a company selling safe and sustainable baby blankets.

‘I try to be conscious of the products I use for Jude. When you’re in a massive rush, sometimes you have to just grab the easiest thing, but I try to make sure everything is eco-friendly, natural and organic.

‘Their Future sent me a blanket when Jude was first born, and it was one of the things we used most. He absolutely loved it,’ she explains, ‘so I always recommend it to people who have just had babies.’

See, we told you her lifestyle had changed. As we wait patiently for the elusive ‘Mums of Chelsea’ spin-off to be given the green light, Tiffany admits she is still a Made in Chelsea fan herself. ‘I hate it when people pretend that they don’t watch it,’ she jokes. ‘I can’t wait for the next series. I need it to come back. Give me anything reality TV.’
