Why do after-parties have the men fromMade In Chelseain a chokehold? They seem to be the crux of all their relationship woes. Everyone’s lives would be a lot easier if they all just went home after clubbing. But would that make for great dramatic reality TV? Not a chance!
Yet another after party has put further strain on Emily Blackwelland Harvey Armstrong's relationship. Last series Harvey kept bringing girls back to their house for funand this season the pattern has only solidified.
This time he went to Tristan Phipps' house with Reza Amiri-Garroussi to continue the party - and he was also pictured cuddling a mystery girl. According to Emily, Harvey came home at 8am - but according to Tristan, Harvey left his house at 6am. So, there was a window of time that leaves room for cheating speculation. Under mounting pressure, Harvey finally admitted he cheated on Emily.
We all have to admit Emily is a Queen. She has great morals and will defend herself and her friends to the death. Any sign of bullshit and she's out! Which is why it was sad for viewers to watch her so teary-eyed over Harvey. She has stuck by him, through a lot, even when perhaps maybe her idea of the future didn't match up with Harvey's - because she was truly in love with him.
If you’re not ready for a serious relationship stop stringing women along. This is the most frustrating issue with some men, and the root of Harvey and Emily's relationship problems. In the last series, Emily spoke up about her intentions within their relationship; she wants children, a house and the white picket fence, too. That is her end goal.
Harvey then and there should have walked away from their relationship as his views didn't align with hers. He even joked about missing 'being single'. Staying with a girl who wants something long term is clearly not what you want then.
Also, to the men who love to cover for their cheating ‘bro’ - you make the situation even worse (shout out to Reza and Tristan). They tried aid Harvey's bad behaviour and help him weasel his way out of the truth. However, it backfired in the end for them all anyway, when the truth came out and Emily made them all squirm.
During every encounter with Harvey, Emily protected her self-worth. She knows she deserves to be respected and demands that respect. Harvey tried to gaslight her and mask cheating as ' 10 seconds of being in the moment'. Emily, however, shut it all down, reminding him: 'You don't love me, if you did he wouldn’t do shit like that to me.'
Tiffany Watsonencouraged Emily to 'walk away from him' and we are glad she is taking that advice. Harvey threw a two year-relationship away for a fling. Sorry isn't always enough - and we're glad Emily sees that.
