Love Is Blind is back! The season three cast of Love Is Blind returned once again for the After the Altar reunion special. Reality TV fans, you'll be happy to know that the drama, scandal and entertainment value is just as good as the full-length series.
The three-episode reunion gave viewers a closer look into the lives of the show’s successful couples, as well as the contestants who weren’t so lucky in love. One of the biggest bombshells of the special took place at the very end, when it was confirmed that SK Alagabada and Raven Ross had ended their second engagement, after SK was allegedly unfaithful.
Before the shocking news was revealed, SK got down on one knee AGAIN for an elaborate second proposal. Just as viewers thought they were going to make it work, Raven opened up about the alleged scandal. Netflix confirmed that the couple had ended their relationship with a post-reunion disclaimer, which read, 'A few months later the engagement ended.' The show then transitioned to footage of an emotional Raven revealing all. It was rumoured that SK had cheated last year, after multiple women came forward on social media to accuse him of being unfaithful to Raven.
The rumours began after a TikTok user shared a popular video format saying, 'Put a finger down if you went on a date in April with a guy from Hinge and then you actually see he’s on the show Love is Blind. He met you after the show was filmed but is still with the same girl right now.' The same user shared more since-deleted videos including several messages she claimed SK had sent to her. It was pointed out that a cross-over allegedly occurred between both women.
As she reflected on their second engagement, Raven said, 'That really sucks. Since then, a lot has changed. My world is completely different because SK cheated on me and now our relationship is over.' Raven also opened up about how happy she was to give their relationship another go. 'I really was so invested in the person that everyone saw and everyone loved. That’s the person I saw and I loved every day too' she said. She tearfully admitted, 'To see everything that has happened since then is so hard. Because that was not the person that I thought that I was with.'
Although Raven said that she 'cannot imagine opening up to someone like I opened up to SK,' she assured viewers that she still 'believes in love' and knows 'that it’s coming for me.' The tearful scenes saw fans flock to social media to support Raven. One fan commented, 'Seeing Raven's cameo at the end is actually heartbreaking.' Whilst another said, 'How could SK do this to Raven? She deserved better.'
As viewers will remember, the pair left the pods engaged during season three, but ultimately failed to tie the knot when they reached the altar. However, the couple rekindled their relationship after cameras stopped filming, with the couple revealing during the reunion in November that they were happily together in a long-distance relationship.
Whilst SK did not address his rumoured infidelity during the reunion, he previously made a public statement on social media. The engineer described the allegations as having been 'falsely misrepresented with malicious intent to extort.' At the time, SK also said he was 'deeply sorry for the pain' the allegations had caused Raven and his family.
