It's the nation's equivalent of TV jury duty. Once you know a new series of The Traitors is coming, you're obliged (and honoured) to stay home and watch every episode. And now the celebrity spin-off, the first of its kind for a UK cast, has officially been released.
Traitors fans - don't fear - the format hasn't changed beyond civilians getting swapped out for UK A-listers. Claudia Winkleman continues to helm the psychological competition reality series, where betrayal and deceit are rewarded when implemented well. This year's celebs are set to win a huge £100,000 for a charity of their choice, with the series set to drop this autumn.
'We’re incredibly lucky these brilliant people have said yes. I’d love to say we’ll take it easy on them and they’ll just wander round the castle and eat toast for a couple of weeks but that would be a lie,' says Claudia Winkleman.
Now, the information you've been waiting for. Here's this year's celebrity line-up:
Alan Carr

The infamous chatty man is bringing his jokes to the Highlands. He's one of Britain's most successful and treasured comedians, and known as a regular judge on RuPaul's Drag Race UK alongside his chat show and stand-up credentials.
Cat Burns

The iconic actor known for playing Bridget Jones' mother, and for roles in Calendar Girls and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. She's also set to star in the highly anticipated film adaptation of Richard Osman's bestselling novel, The Thursday Murder Club.
Charlotte Church

The singer is known for speaking her mind, and has gone toe-to-toe with figures like Katie Hopkins, so is unlikely to have any problems during a Round Table discussion. She's been open about her struggles with the tabloids during her time as a child star, and leaned further into activism more recently. Last year she sang in support of Palestine.
Clare Balding

A favourite on Celebrity Gogglebox, the broadcasting legend is set to make her first reality appearance on the series. She's currently a presenter for BBC Sport and Channel 4, and was appointed as the 30th President of the Rugby Football League in 2020.
David Olusoga

The former rugby union player played for the England national team until his retirement last year. Since then he's launched a popular podcast called Things People Do, which dives into 'ordinary people and the extraordinary things they do'.
Joe Wilkinson
The comedian is a familiar face on panel shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats and Have I Got News For You. Could he offer some light relief in the castle? Only time will tell.
Jonathan Ross

Ross is one of the UK's most famous interviewers, and now could be facing the hot-seat for once. He's best known for his chat-show Friday Night with Jonathan Ross during the early 2010s.
Kate Garraway

The renowned Good Morning Britain/ITV presenter is reportedly a big fan of the series. She's also the presenter of Mid Mornings with Kate Garraway on Smooth Radio.
Lucy Beaumont

The Hull comedian is set to hopefully add some comic relief alongside Joe. She's starred in The Great Stand Up to Cancer Bake Off and has been a contestant on Have I Got News For You.
Mark Bonnar

Bonnar is a Scottish actor best known for his roles in crime dramas. He got his first break in an episode of detective series Rebus in 2001, and is known for acting roles in Unforgotten, Shetland, and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
Nick Mohammed

Ted Lasso star Nick Mohammed, also known for his character Mr. Swallow, is another hilarious comedian joining the mix. He was recognised for his comedic talents, landing a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series category at the 73rd and 74th Primetime Emmy Awards.
Niko Omilana

With over 7.8m subscribers on YouTube, and known for elaborate pranks, could he invite some interesting game-play into this series? He's known for running in the 2024 general election, and also for being part of the Beta Squad YouTube group.
Paloma Faith

English singer, songwriter, and actress, Faith literally has 'faith' in her name, which could prove helpful in establishing trust among the group. She's also known for speaking her mind - a vital skill if she does end up a Faithful
Ruth Codd

The Irish actress is known for The Midnight Club and The Fall of the House of Usher. In 2024, Ruth finished in third place on E4’s Celeb Cooking School, losing out to winner RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star Blu Hydrangea and runner-up TOWIE star James ‘Arg’ Argent.

Tom Daley

Daley is an Olympian, author, broadcaster and entrepreneur and has faced the most intense form of pressure thanks to his illustrious sporting career. But will this put him in a good position for the second most pressured environment there is – the Traitors castle?
