You’ll be happy to know – or distraught depending on how bored you are – Love Island is coming to an end soon. Just two weeks remain of the latest season, the finale expected on 12 March. That’s perhaps why the show is grounding to a halt drama wise, the last week typically saved for sweet reunions with family, final dates, and declarations of love. That being said, the latest bombshells are likely to be the last ones to stir up drama in the villa, with Casey and Claudia’s coupling the final one to fall apart. But what of the other couples then, is it all sailing off into the sunset?

Frankly, viewers aren’t overjoyed with the options – Ron and Lana predicted to win as the only couple who have remained stable since Casa Amor. But there’s one underdog couple that might just take the cake despite their relative newness: Kai and Sanam. The coupling has been well-received since their Casa Amor beginnings, notably because of Kai standing up to this series most controversial contestant, Olivia Hawkins. Of all the couples, viewers think their connection is the most authentic, and appreciate their efforts to avoid unnecessary drama.

But that’s where Love Island fans are starting to feel their missing out, Kai and Sanam haven’t been overwhelmingly present in recent episodes. It’s an obvious hole in an otherwise lacklustre show, couple chemistry wise, with many now asking: are Kai and Sanam being edited out of Love Island?

Some even worry that Sanam is being isolated from the other girls after noting that she doesn’t seem very present in their group chats. ‘We really need to discuss how isolated Sanam is from the other girls like do you hate pretty unproblematic bitches? #loveisland’ one viewer tweeted, to the tune of nearly 3000 likes.

So, is Sanam being left out in the villa or is she just spending all of her time with Kai and we’re not getting to see it? Honestly, all we can say is bring back more Kanam, we need a couple to root for this year that hasn’t been through the horrors of ‘Love Island Tests’.
