Yes, it might be what some consider 'trash' TV, or a guilty pleasure, but that's fine. Not everything we need to watch has to be a documentary, or something which is going to enrich our lives. Sometimes, we just want to watch fit people in skimpy swimwear getting into arguments over a firepit. (No, I still still not forgotten Hugo screaming at Toby during that recoupling.)
Obviously, not everyone is a fan - and one celebrity has revealed themselves to be an enemy of reality TV. And it might be someone who surprises you, as apparently Adele only wants to watch programmes that she ‘will actually learn from'. (Though she said she does sometimes watch mind-numbing stuff, when she has the 'urge'.)
While having her make-up done by YouTube legend NikkieTutorials, aka Nikkie de Jager, Adele admitted that she couldn't 'bear' the series. 'My son’s dad [Simon Konecki] loves that and I remember trying to get into it while I was home doing shows…I couldn’t believe it,' she said. 'I’m thinking like, they’re all having sex on TV! Actually having sex! People will do anything to be famous!' (To be fair, she does have a point - but we still admire our islanders for their tenacity and dedication to the cause.)
She's also not a fan of Real Housewives, either - saying that she thought her 'brain would die' if she watched it. Eek.
Anyway, following this shocking news, we doubt Adele is ever going to perform at one of the infamous Love Island villa parties{
