It’s feels like it’s been approximately one week of 2021, and yet we’re already in April. The coronavirus vaccination programme is looking promising and so of course, people are snooping for their next potential holiday. While we may need to staycation in the UK this summer, that hasn’t stopped the dreaming about an exotic Airbnb getaway – at least according to the most popular Airbnb’s on Instagram.
Releasing their illustrious list last week, Airbnb detailed the top 10 homes that people quite literally ‘liked’ on their Instagram account – and while none of them are in the UK (boo), they do provide the perfect inspiration for future travels (when it feels safe, of course).
‘2020 may have restricted travel in ways we could never have imagined, but it did nothing to dampen a powerful sense of wanderlust,’ Airbnb said in a press release. ‘Thousands of would-be travellers have wistfully gazed at, liked and commented on inspiring travel images on Airbnb’s Instagram account.’
So what are the most-Instagram approved Airbnb’s on offer? Well, just take a scroll for yourself – some of them aren’t even that far away, if we can ever leave this bloody Island.
