This week, Lottie Moss has been trending on Google. Why? Because the model and influencer was subject to an OnlyFans leak, and the world is still awful enough that everyone is searching for them.
That’s right, according to Google Trends, ‘Lottie Moss leaked pictures’ is a breakout search term for the 23-year-old – alongside ‘Lottie Moss OnlyFans leaked photos’ and ‘Lottie Moss nudes’. Her phone number is also trending, after a former friend decided to share it online, according to Lottie.
Posting on Instagram, Lottie tearfully explained that a fan alerted her to the leak – saying that someone from her close circle was encouraging people to steal her OnlyFans content and share it with her family.
‘He's telling the boys in the group chat to sub to your OnlyFans and leak the pictures to your mother's Instagram,’ Lottie said the message read. She called the ex-friend an ‘evil human being’ and said she had already received numerous phone calls from unknown people after her number was given out.
Now, she seems to be trying to move on from the ordeal, posting on social media that she was flying to Antigua. But the searches for Lottie Moss’ leaked OnlyFans content continue – begging the question, will we ever move beyond women being exploited online?
We’ve seen countless examples of celebrities nude content being shared without consent online. From Jennifer Lawrence’s phone hack to Georgia Harrison’s revenge porn case, women are often forced to plead with the public not to view explicit content illegally posted online. And frankly, Lottie's OnlyFans content is no different to this.
Lottie Moss posts nude content and videos for a price, only those willing to pay it should be allowed access. Those are the conditions of consent in viewing her explicit photos.
After the leak, Lottie made her account public but still only offered access to the type of nude images that were included in the leak to paying subscribers. To seek out pictures of Lottie Moss’ leaked nudes – actively avoiding paying for them - is to disregard a woman’s consent entirely.
And yet, because this is a woman who proudly posts nude content online for paying customers, she’s trolled when she’s subject to the same violation all women are when they have explicit images shared online without consent.
We should be supporting Lottie in this moment. We should be encouraging OnlyFans to enact their DMCA Takedown Policy that ensures watermarked content posted on OnlyFans is removed when copyright is infringed. And most importantly, we should be educating people about the damage that by continuing to feed demand for leaked explicit photos - for all women.
