Today, the second and final installment of Harry and Meghan, the highly anticipated Netflix docuseries, was released. Love them or hate them - their documentary is definitely making an impact. Netflix recently announced that the first set of episodes debuted with 81.5 million viewing hours, the most of any documentary in a premiere week.
Episode four begins with Prince Harry and Meghan’s lavishRoyal wedding in May 2018 and also delves into a number of other matters; including Meghan’s connection to Queen Elizabeth II, her continued struggle with the media and mental health challenges.
The reliving of the the couple’s star-studded wedding on screen has brought back many memories for all. Within the episode a handful of unseen images that illustrate the day flashed across the screen; from intimate moments from their reception to candid pictures of family members. The couple described the day as a 'family affair' and revealed a number of new details about the detailed planning of their nuptials.
Prince Harry revealed that he chose the song (Handel’s “Eternal Source of Light Divine”) that Meghan walked down the aisle to. 'It was so beautiful,' Meghan said. It was also revealed that King Charles III, Harry’s father, helped choose the orchestra for the ceremony.
Back in 2018, the Telegraph reported that the couple's first dance was to I Wanna Dance With Somebody by Whitney Houston, but the couple revealed that it was actually Land of 1000 Dances by Wilson Pickett.
During the previous set of episodes, Meghan detailed how her father, Thomas Markle, was not present on the day so she asked King Charles to walk her down the aisle. 'Harry’s dad is very charming,' Meghan said. 'I said to him like, "I’ve lost my dad in this," so him as my father-in-law was really important to me.'
