Is there anything more 2003 than someone trying to tuck their boot-cut jeans into a pair of Uggs? The funny thing is, both parts of that particular outfit are back on the trend (Kate Moss wore her boot-cuts to London Fashion Week; Gigi Hadid has been repeat-wearing Uggs), but perhaps the real question is: have they ever gone away? Uggs that is. Boot-cuts definitely have, replaced by skinnies then wide-leg jeans. But Uggs have always been in the background - and have the most devoted celebrity following there is when it comes to footwear.
Sienna Miller, controversially, wore them with opaque tights. SJP took hers on the school run with a practical gilet and beanie hat. Kate Middleton (yes, royalty wears them too) styled a light beige pair with low-slung jeans and a blazer. Moss, however, has got to be the queen of the Uggs. She had a black pair with pom-poms and wore them with a Mulberry Bayswater. Heaven. Here are our favourite celebrity fans of Uggs. (The only thing left to do? Dig out yours.)
