Since its launch in 2009, Reformation has firmly established itself as one of fashion’s ultimate It girl brands. Endorsed by some of the most influential celebrities - from Sienna Miller to Katie Holmes and Taylor Swift - the Los Angeles–born label is responsible for some of the most popular dresses among the A-list, including the Balia Linen Dress. Unfortunately, it's not only a consistent sell-out, it's also nearly £300, which is more of an investment for a summer dress. Thankfully, M&S has just launched an alternative style – and it's somehow still available.

The Linen Rich Strappy Swing Dress is a stylish, near-identical dress that’s already caught the attention of the fashion crowd. The style set’s verdict? They can’t get enough.

A linen midi is an absolute must-have for warmer days and, with temperatures hitting 30 degrees, this M&S frock is your go-to for staying cool and chic.

Already sold out in two of its three shades - tomato, a 2025 summer staple, and sage green - this linen midi has quickly built a devoted cult following. Crafted from a cool linen-blend fabric, the whimsical swing dress looks like it was cut from the same cloth as the Reformation original, featuring delicate bow detailing on the bust and a flattering corset-style waist.

As with most effortless summer dresses, styling shouldn’t feel like a gruelling task - just throw it on and go. As for footwear? For daytime ease, slides reminiscent of Hermès’ Oran sandals are perfect for balmy British (or abroad) temperatures. For something that transitions seamlessly into the evening, a pair of kitten-heel mules will take your look from day to dusk in an instant. Then, it’s all about the finishing touches; opt for either gold or silver jewellery (the chunkier the bangle, the better) and consider your favourite pair of sunglasses for hot summer days.

Shop the M&S frock before it completely sells out - we suspect it'll be gone before the end of June.
