Finding the perfect pair of jeans is no easy feat, especially if you're someone who is the proud owner of larger thighs, a smaller waist and wider hips, or fit into the 'pear-shaped' category. If you've ever had your hopes dashed by a pair of jeans that promises to be the one, only to be disappointed by the gaping fabric around the waistband or, even worse, being unable to pull them up past your knees, then we may just have the solution.

It's no secret that M&S' jeans are praised on the high street for being high-quality, affordable and well-fitting, but there's one pair that, over the past year, has sold more than 20,000 pairs to customers who have given five star reviews. In fact, they're so good, they're now famous on social media, and I have witnessed them doing the rounds on Instagram for some time now.

Available in sizes UK6 to 22, and with 3 different lengths (petite, regular, long) you can find the right fit for you. This mid blue wash will be a wardrobe hero.

Black jeans are super versatile, easily dressed up with heels and a strapless top for evenings out or with cashmere knits and suede trainers for a more casual outfit.

Whilst white or cream jeans might not feel like a practical colour, they're surprisingly easy shade to wear, styled with bright colours or with cream tops and shoes for a luxurious feel.

Light wash denim is proving one of the biggest denim trends for this season, nodding to boho (another of the top trends for 2025) this easy going colour is perfect for spring.

Similar to a mom jean but without that garish gap at the top, they're true to size and comfortable to wear. They are ankle grazers, so it's worth bearing in mind which length would suit you (Sofy is 5'4" and opted for the regular length). Binky Felstead has also worn them, proving that they really are great on different body shapes and sizes. Crucially, though, they've got a bit of stretch in them, so should even be comfortable when sitting down.

Why are the M&S carrot jeans worth it?

'With a less exaggerated cut than balloon or horseshoe jeans, this 'carrot' fit is an easier to wear pair whilst giving a more interesting, fashion forward shape than regular straight leg. Skimming over hips and with a high waist, these jeans give a really flattering fit that are comfortable to wear. Plus, the £39.50 price tag if much more purse-friendly than it's designer counterparts, for example, the similar Agolde Luna style would cost you nearly £300 more. I love the light wash for spring and the black version for an everyday pair of jeans you'll come back to time and time again.' says Grazia's Shopping Editor, Julia Harvey.

What to wear with M&S carrot jeans?

The great thing about this style is that they'll go with pretty much everything. For an easy, everyday outfit pair yours with a simple T-shirt and ballet flats or bright suede trainers. More something more work appropriate, wear the M&S carrot jeans with neat cashmere cardigans and leather loafers, and for evenings out, try a lace camisole top and sling back heels for the perfect jeans-and-a-nice-top outfit.

Available in medium indigo, light indigo, ecru and black, as well as short, regular and long in UK sizes 6-22, it's probably not surprising to learn that these jeans sell out consistently in many sizes. If your size is currently unavailable, however, you can sign up to be notified when it's back in stock.

Shop the M&S jeans now before they go out of stock, if you cant find your size, this style are often restocked so be sure to keep your eyes peeled.
