Don’t Want To Spend £700 On Miu Miu’s Ballerinas? We’ve Found A High Street Pair

We lived in a pink fashion world last year thanks to Valentino's championing of Barbiecore, and now balletcore is one of the latest trends some of the most stylish people are getting on board with. While ballet pumps went from a school yard favourite to being given a slightly frumpy reputation for a good few years, the style insiders have put them back on the map with French women in particular supporting the revival. Just look at Camille Charrière, who attended the brand's spring/summer 2023 show sporting a full look. And guess what adorned Camille's feet? It was those Miu Miu elastic strap ballerinas in white (although they look kinda silver). Giving a firm nod to the preppy style the Italian label has developed, the influencer wore said flats with white knee-high socks, a pleated skirt and a polo top.

The Miu Miu ballerinas come in four colours – pink, white, brown and black – and at £700 a pop, they're not a small investment to make. Camille wasn't the only show-goer to wear the ballerinas as Ola Farahat (below) went for the pink pair, again teamed with knee-high socks, but this time with a checked skirt suit. With so many stylish women backing the ballet flats, w're not surprised the likes of Mango has tapped (excuse the dance pun) into the balletcore trend.
