Jeans and a nice top? According to Kendall Jenner, this age-old nugget of outfit wisdom is the acme of summer dressing in 2025. The Kardashian sister was spotted in New York city with model peer Gigi Hadid, making another claim for being the most style-savvy in her family of super influencers.
As the weather in the Big Apple surpassed the 20 degrees mark this week (a heatwave in UK terms), the model was spotted in what has proven to be a failsafe quick-fix to getting dressed, time and time again. From the bottom up, not only did she make the case for ballet flats once more, but she paired them with straight-legged jeans, her go-to The Row tote bag, and the pièce de résistance of this outfit: an asymmetric vest top, putting a twist on a - sorry Kendall, no shade - perfectly basic outfit.

A piece of good news? The top doesn’t come with a designer price tag but is from Mango, and it’s available to shop now (see below). Naturally, it would be an affront to neglect talking about Gigi Hadid’s own summer outfit, too, which (to the trained eye), is very much Bradshaw-adjacent. Dressed in camo cargo pants, satin Miu Miu ballet flats, a pearl necklace and a Chanel bag, Hadid brought a certain sense of Carrie to Jenner’s toned-down, Charlotte York-tinged get-up. Turns out, Sex And The City is still the ultimate wardrobe inspiration for any well-dressed New Yorker, and those who’d like to be one.
