It's the show we all love to hate... but actually really love. Emily in Paris returned to Netflix a few weeks ago for the third season of pastries and passion. If you haven't already binged the whole series then we recommend doing so as soon as possible, we're already smitten with the love triangles, the accents, and the clothes.
Whilst we try and get our heads around Emily's unhinged outfits (there are some serious corkers) we've been swooning over the sartorial style from the ever-chic Camille and boss of fictional PR agency Savior, Sylvie Grateau. Each outfit worn with that certain je ne sais quoi that seemingly only the French can deliver. But, Schiaparelli looks and Vivienne Westwood gowns aside, we've noticed that Sylvie's style has been filtering in to Philippine Leroy-Beaulie's real life wardobe, too. On the recent press tour for Emily in Paris, Leroy-Beaulie was spotted wearing a certain pair of cerise pink, metallic, knee high boots on two occasions - quite the statement.
On closer inspection we saw Sylvie sporting these same boots in series three of the show, a great memento from the costume department if you ask us and quite a different look for someone who is usually seen wearing all black. The pair in question are by designer Alexandre Vauthier - who knows how to do a good boot - and come in plenty of different colour options but we have to say we are big fans of the fuchsia pink. These are currently on sale at Farfetch with a cool £771 price tag, although we've found some similar pairs for less if you're on a January budget.
With the fashion acting as one of the main plots of Emily in Paris, it's no wonder the cast are adopting their characters style IRL. We wonder what else has been nabbed from the wardrobe department...
