Paris Couture Week has been a wild ride – quite literally. If it isn't Kylie Jenner in that faux-lion head dress, it's Chanel putting a camel, elephant and buffalo (again, all not real) on the runways in mobile sculpture forms. And then, along came Anne Hathaway. Wearing an outfit even Miranda Priestly would be proud of, The Devil Wears Prada actor attended the Valentino spring/summer 2023 couture show wearing a bejewelled leopard print mini dress with matching leopard heels and bag (all Valentino, naturally). The star took the matchy-matchy look one step further with co-ordinating animal-print tights. And, wow oh wow, did this outfit make an entrance FROW-side.
While crystal-adorned leopard print with chandelier earrings may spark initial thoughts of Pat Butcher in a '00s episode of Eastenders, let us tell you, it's a far cry from being overkill. Perfectly co-ordinated, could this be the way to wear our dresses from here on out? We think so.
