When I stumbled into COS last year completely accidentally (it was a windy day) and with no intention of buying anything (I had already eye-balled seven things on the website) I didn't know I was about to discover my dream everyday bag. Until I made eye contact with COS' Crossbody bag, I didn't know what was missing from my life. Sure, I was the proud owner of Uniqlo's viral cross-body nylon bag, but nothing comes close to the chicness of COS' iteration. Its fits every one of my possessions, is 100% leather and comes in an wide spectrum of wonderful shades, from an ever-chic chocolate brown, to goes-with-everything black.
It was only after I bought my dream bag that I realised - nope - I hadn't discovered a hidden gem. In fact, I was late to the trend. The COS Crossbody bag is loved by every fashion editor/influencer/fashion-conscious individual under the sun, and it's plain to see why. It goes with every single item in my wardrobe, has wide, comfortable straps and a smooth grain leather which will last years. The crossbody has firmly solidified itself as a cult high street item, and a core part of the COS collection.

There were also red and khaki versions of the bag available but, since they were discounted in the Black Friday sale, they have unsurprisingly sold out. Still, given that you really will wear this crossbody every single day, £110 seems like effective cost-per-wear economics. At least, that's what I'm telling myself.
