Carrie Bradshaw’s handbag collection is more than a prop closet. It’s a visual archive of late ’90s fashion, Y2K excess, and today’s viral runway moments. From the moment Sex and the City aired, Sarah Jessica Parker’s styling turned niche designer pieces into household names (who else could make a bejewelled Judith Leiber look normal on the subway?). Fast forward to And Just Like That, and the formula hasn’t changed. Carrie’s bags still spark conversation, drive resale prices, and cement cultural trends. As the reboot bows out, we’re revisiting the standouts not just because they look good, but because each one says something about the evolution of both her character and fashion itself.

The Coach Kisslock Bag

Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted carrying the Coach Kisslock bag on And Just Like That season 3, she teamed the burgundy bag with a denim skirt and plaid shirt. With its ladylike clasp and compact shape, this oversized coin purse spoke to Carrie’s love of vintage silhouettes and accessible luxury. Coach’s recent revamp into a modern heritage brand made it a timely choice.

The Fendi Baguette And Other Sequin Bags

If Sex and the City made the Fendi Baguette famous, And Just Like That reminded us why it never really left the fashion consciousness. The purple sequin version first immortalised in that infamous mugging scene returned to the reboot as a full-circle moment. Sequins in general have had a resurgence in evening wear and accessories, but Carrie’s take is still unmatched: wearing them in the middle of the day, paired with silk slips or even sweats.

The Gucci Jackie Bag

This wasn’t just any Gucci Jackie, but Carrie’s was drenched in crystals - a full showpiece worth over £15,000. The bag’s shape nods to ’60s elegance, but the all-over sparkle made it pure Carrie: classic bones with a dose of ‘extra’. It’s the kind of piece that lives at the sweet spot between red carpet and a fun wardrobe piece, which is where Carrie has always styled herself best. This is a very rare bag to find.

The JW Anderson Pigeon Bag

TheJW Anderson pigeon clutch became one of A_nd Just Like That’s_ most viral moments not because it’s practical (it barely fits a lipgloss), but because it’s Carrie at her best. Hyper-realistic, 3D printed, and instantly recognisable to anyone scrolling Instagram, it was a perfect example of fashion as a conversation starter. In a sea of minimalist, quiet luxury accessories, the pigeon was delightfully loud. It’s the sort of choice only Carrie could carry off without irony, reminding us that the best accessories should make you smile before they make sense. What better place than New York? A city filled with pigeons.

The Gucci X Balenciaga Monochrome Hourglass Bag

All-over monogram, two powerhouse logos in one - it’s a little flashier than Carrie’s usual taste in branding, which made it even more interesting. On anyone else, it could’ve felt try-hard but on Carrie? Not su much. She styled hers with a blue shirt and slip dress on top. And despite all the textures, layers and prints, it didn’t feel like too much.
