Bella Hadid’s Perfect Day To Night Dressing Is The Inspiration We Need For Every Christmas Event

If there’s one thing Bella Hadid has mastered, it’s the art of turning the streets into her personal runway. Over the weekend, Hadid even excelled herself, offering a blueprint for how to navigate the challenge of dressing for a full day of different events without compromising on style. Still nodding to the cowgirl aesthetic she has been embracing of late – something which could now be seen as quiet method dressing since her surprise appearance on Yellowstone – Hadid showed us all how to nail that age-old conundrum of day-to-night dressing.

Hadid left New York’s Bowery Hotel in a daring dark denim co-ord, a wash that can easily veer into outdated territory if not styled thoughtfully. The outfit featured a fitted corset-style jacket paired with a matching pencil skirt, both from Roberto Cavalli’s 2002 collection, which her stylist Molly Dickinson revealed on Instagram Stories. She completed the look with a classic YSL Sac De Jour bag and black high knee boots to match.

Later that evening, Hadid switched gears, stepping out in a sultry white silk slip dress from Valentino’s Spring/Summer 2005 collection, tapping into the current re-emergence of all things boho. The dress featured looped detailing and a minimalist silhouette, which Hadid wore underneath a lightweight jacket, reminiscent of those waterfall-hem cardigans everyone loved circa. 2006. It was a clever reminder that slip dresses can be worn all year around with intentional layering, especially when paired with #oldCeline boots.

Not content with two excellent looks, Hadid leaned further into her cowgirl phase in the form of another head-turning vintage number: a full suede suit. Cleverly breaking up the browns with a striped crewneck sweater underneath, in true Bella Hadid street style, she paired the look with her signature Bayonetta glasses and pointed heels.
