Sophie Habboo, 30, and Jamie Laing, 36, took to Instagram to announce the news that they have a baby on the way. In a collab post between the pair, the couple shared an intimate video from a baby scan to let the world know their exciting news.

After making their relationship official in 2019 and getting engaged in 2021, Sophie and Jamie tied the knot in Spain in 2023. Since then, they’ve been busy running JamPot Productions, the media house which produces their own podcast, Newly Weds, as well as Mad, Sad & Bad with Paloma Faith and Wednesday’s - Sophie’s podcast alongside bestie and fellow Made in Chelsea alumn Melissa Tattum.

Things have ramped up for the couple since recently announcing that NewlyWeds is on pause, leaving listeners curious on what’s next. This week it was announced that Sophie will be joining her Radio 1 presenter husband on the Going Home show throughout June as she steps in for Vick Hope whilst she is on maternity leave. This news marks a first for Radio 1, with  Sophie and Jamie being the first ever married couple to co-host a show on the station.

Fellow Radio 1 DJ Danny Howard joked in the comments on Sophie and Jamie’s baby announcement video writing: ‘Congrats guys ❤️  You lot on Going Home are activeeeee 👶🏻.’ He’s not wrong! Jaime joins co-host Katie Thistleton who welcomed baby Reuben Alexander into the world in June and Vick Hope who is also expecting her first child producer/DJ husband Calvin Harris.
