After tying the knot in Chelsea, Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo have had a second wedding ceremony out in Marbella – and they’ve released a podcast episode centred around the day.

The wedding – which was attended by the couple’s closest family and friends – took place in a private villa called Sotogrande, and the bride wore two gorgeous dresses, one Emma Beamount lace bridal gown for the ceremony and a satin halter neck number for the evening reception.

Jamie also posted an adorable video to Instagram, commemorating the events of the Marbella wedding with the cute caption: ‘It happened….. “To find true Love you must first find a true Friend”’.

Here are the top takeaways from part one of the NearlyWeds podcast’s ‘The Wedding’ episode.

Jamie was unlikely to be wearing open-toed shoes to the wedding

Sophie revealed that Jamie’s toenail fell off shortly after he arrived in Marbella, which she described as ‘the cherry on top of the tree’, a hilarious mix of metaphors that her fiancé found hilarious.

Let’s hope he wasn’t planning to wear flip flops or sandals to the ceremony.

An A-list nail technician ditched the Biebers to do Sophie’s nails for the big day

Sophie couldn’t wait to share that a special guest offered to add to her pre-wedding beauty routine.

‘Harriet Westmoreland, who I have followed for 3 years, who was meant to be doing Hailey and Justin Bieber’s nails in England today, asked to fly out to do my nails instead,’ she said. ‘Does that mean I’ve made it? I think so.’

Clearly waving her newly-done nails around behind the podcast mic, she added: 'Take these in, suckers!’

And a true bonus – Sophie decided to invite Harriet to the wedding ‘because she’s a vibe’.

Sophie’s snoring proved a problem in the run up to the wedding

Jamie was quick to point out that Sophie her snoring ‘wasn’t too good’.

‘I have to put it out there,' he said, adding that it’s due to the fact she has allergies in her nose.

Sophie explained that she had stuffed tissue up her nose to try stop herself from snoring, with Jamie describing the sounds to be ‘like a walrus’.

Their marriage has been agreed to last ‘at least a year’

Sophie dished the dirt on comments Jamie has made about having to make it to the year marker of marriage.

She said: ’Once he said during an argument, “urgh I've got to stay married to you for at least a year”. I was like, “f**k you!”’

Jamie admitted that this was true: ‘If it was before a year, everyone would be like "well that was short”. But a year, then you're like “that's alright.”’

Let’s see how these lovebirds go!

Spencer Matthews had his own special role on the day

The podcast episode includes a brief chat with Spencer on the wedding day. He generously describes the event itself as ‘quite a lot cooler than I thought it would be’.

When asked if he was happy to be invited, Spencer responded: ‘even though I won’t be officiating, I’m happy with my role”. He was due to MC, according to Jamie, who wanted him to dress up as Mr Tumnus from the Chronicles of Narnia.

Alas, Spencer confirmed he was wearing a ‘lovely new tux’ instead.

Sam Thompson talks about his failed plan to ‘mug off’ Jamie during the ceremony

Jamie’s ex-Made In Chelsea co-star, ex-PA at Candy Kittens and self-proclaimed ‘brother in arms’ described the ceremony as ‘the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen in my life’.

He described reacting differently to he thought he would when he saw his pal crying at the end of the aisle when he saw his bride: ‘I thought I was going to mug Jamie off when he cried, then I went “f**k I’m crying!’

The incredible booze at the Marbella wedding was also mentioned:“You’re never gonna find a free bar with this kind of rosé anywhere else.”

Sam also hinted that the couple’s beautiful wedding has made him want to pop the question. Watch this space.
