Despite the fact that he’s been sharing snaps from filming series 25 of Made in Chelsea alongside his co-stars Ruby Adler and Yasmine Zweegers, the internet is rife with rumours that Miles Nazaire isn’t returning to SW3.
Luckily, we’re here to tell you that that isn’t the case… for now.
Despite that, it turns out that the MIC heartthrob has been questioning his decision to return to the show and the direction that he’s going to take in the future when it comes to his career.
Speaking to Johnny Seifert on the Secure The Insecure podcast, the 27-year-old admitted, ‘I was very very close to not coming back this year and that’s because I was sick of being portrayed in a certain way, as the [player] character.’
He continued, ‘It's understanding – not that you’ve done your time on the show – but I’ve done it for five years-plus now, and there are new people on the show and there are new people coming onto the show, and they’re very young and they’ve got the want, the drive, to be in all the drama and have fun.’
In his own podcast Playtime that he hosts with Love Island’s Charlie Radnedge, Miles explained, ‘Doing a show for the last five years, and let’s be real, my “character” on the show has been the fuck boy. There’s a part of me that’s a bit sick of it.
‘I haven’t had much of a private life. If [Made in] Chelsea was no more, it would mean all my dramas wouldn’t be aired on TV.’
We get his point, but considering last series of MIC was essentially 'The Miles Show' and followed Miles as he navigated will they / won’t they relationships with Ella May Ding, Yasmine Zweegers and Ruby Adler to name a few, we find it hard to believe that Miles and his lothario ways won’t be the centre of attention yet again in series 25.
However, seeing as he’s currently in a relationship with a Canadian girl – who he’s apparently banned from appearing on the show ‘for now’ – and he’s made up with Emily Blackwell, what other storylines are there for him?
Maybe we’ll need to get used to seeing a bit less of our fave now that he’s all grown up – not to make you feel old, but he is nearly 30 after all!
