Love Island 2021 champs Millie Court and Liam Reardon have reportedly reconciled nine months after splitting up.

Millie, 26, and Liam, 23, had been together for a year when they parted ways last July, with both confirming their split in respective Instagram statements.

But according to a source and images obtained by MailOnline, the couple's relationship is back on, as they were spotted enjoying the bank holiday weekend together in the Lake District.

An insider close to the pair told the publication that they have been talking again, but it is 'early days'.

They added, 'Millie and Liam weren't expecting to get back together after their break-up was so painful for them both, but months have passed, and they still couldn't stop thinking about each other.

'Coming out of Love Island was a whirlwind and now they're just looking to take things slowly and see if they can rebuild their relationship, which may take some time.'

Over the Easter break, former fashion buyer's administrator Millie and ex-bricklayer Liam attempted to maintain a low profile as they collected a Dominoes takeaway in Windermere.

The rumoured reconciliation comes after Liam - who hails from Merthyr, Wales - opened up to heat about his relationship breakdown with Millie.

'We try to keep things friendly but, especially in this industry, it is hard. But I’ve got nothing but love for Millie - she is lovely. But it was the wrong timing for us, and it was difficult,' he admitted.

Liam moved in with Millie in her native Essex not long after their Love Island victory. Having all eyes on their relationship was no easy feat, as Liam also went on to explain.

'It was almost like my relationship was me, Millie and the UK. It wasn't great and it was one of the struggles in our relationship.

'We wouldn't post a photo together for a couple of days, then there would be articles everywhere, "Have Liam and Millie broken up?" Mentally that was very strange for me because I felt like I had to prove something to people.'

The Welshman also divulged at the time of the interview that he was not dating anyone, whilst Millie took to her YouTube channel last week to spill her current relationship status.

'There have been a lot of rumours. I am going to confirm that I am dating someone but I'm not ready to tell you guys yet,' she said.
