Unless you've been hiding under the rock for the past 12 months (and if so, who are we to judge?), you'll have noticed that from fashion shows to red carpet events, a certain Lily-Rose Depp has become a firm fixture in the spotlight. If you're not already obsessed with her nonchalant Paris-meets-California style and crushing on her Instagram feed, here's your brief sheet on the cool girl of the moment...
Who are Lily-Rose Depp's parents?
She's the daughter of actor Johnny Depp and the multi-talented French star Vanessa Paradis, a singer, actress and model, who also have a son, John 'Jack' Christopher Depp III, born in 2002.
How old is she?
Born on 27th May 1999, Lily-Rose has just celebrated her 17th birthday. Maybe Johnny bought her some driving lessons. We're feeling very, very old and decrepit right now.
Lily-Rose's best fashion moments so far
Already a clear favourite of Karl Lagerfeld, Lily-Rose typically opts for Chanel for red carpet events - well, you would, wouldn't you? She has an uncanny knack of taking fashion risks that seriously pay off - for a case in point, see the bouclé hoodie and matching shorts worn for her Cannes Film Festival debut.
For her first Met Gala earlier this year, the star chose an embellished V-necked gown and matching bomber jacket courtesy of - you guessed it - Chanel, which earned her mentions in plenty of 'best dressed lists' on the night.

Her modelling career to date
She may be just 17, but Lily-Rose already has a modelling portfolio to put far more experienced stars to shame.
After making her debut in a shoot for Oyster magazine, Lily caused the fashion crowd to sit up and take notice when she appeared in Chanel's AW15 casino-themed couture show, alongside her mother Vanessa and the likes of Kristen Stewart, Julianne Moore and Kendall Jenner.
Fast-forward a couple of months, and Lily-Rose had landed a gig as Karl Lagerfeld's new Chanel ambassador, complete with an ad campaign for the Pearl eyewear collection.
She's currently the face of the brand's new No. 5 L'eau fragrance, a fresher and lighter take on the classic scent, with a full campaign due to drop this autumn.
Which magazines has she covered?
In a remarkably short space of time, she has already graced the cover of a clutch of glossy magazines, including Vanity Fair Paris and a colourful shoot for Love magazine. In the corresponding interview, she described acting as 'more emotional' than modelling, revealing: 'I want to work hard at it, and hopefully keep finding roles as beautiful as the ones I’ve already been lucky enough to come across.'
So, what about her acting career?
Acting is in Lily-Rose's blood, so it's no surprise that she's decided to follow in the footsteps of her famous parents. Speaking to Vanity Fair, she's described how acting 'frees' her, explaining: 'For me, it's simple: I like to act [...] I want to make it my craft.'
She made her screen debut in 2014 horror flick Tusk, with a brief appearance as 'Check Out Girl 1' alongside her best pal Harley Quinn Smith (daughter of the film's director, Kevin Smith) and her father.
Forthcoming projects for the rising star include...
Another Kevin Smith project, Yoger Hosers sees Lily-Rose and Harley Quinn take lead roles as two teen yoga fans who have to battle tiny monsters made from bratwurst. The film will also star Johnny Depp as a 'legendary man-hunter.' You couldn't make this up.
In an interview with V, Lily-Rose revealed, 'the most fun part of making the movie was being able to learn and experience everything for the first time with people I love and admire.' Aww.
Due for release later this year, this French drama tells the story of the rivalry between two legendary dancers, Loie Fuller (played by Kristen Stewart's ex-girlfriend Soko) and Isadora Duncan (played by Lily-Rose.)
Lily-Rose will play the younger sister of Natalie Portman in this '30s-set period drama, telling the story of two women whose supernatural powers allow them to communicate with the dead.
How can I follow Lily-Rose on social media?
As she points out in her profile, the only social media platform which Lily-Rose uses is Instagram, and her account @lilyrose_depp is a must-follow. Add it to your feed for cute snaps of her bulldog puppy, Peach, behind-the-scenes insights from LR's latest fashion shoots and plenty of hairspo (that messy bob, though...)
