Finally! When we first heard that Natalie Portman and Lily-Rose Depp would be playing sisters on-screen, we knew this stylish pairing would be absolutely perfect.

And now, we can finally see the dream duo in the (predominately French-speaking) trailer for their new movie, Planetarium. The highly anticipated thriller focuses on two American mediums (Depp and Portman) during pre-war Paris in the 1930s, it all seems fine until a French producer wants to capture their ability on film.

The most stylish sisters? For sure. Oh, and they’ll have no problems with the language barrier – Portman has lived in Paris for two years with her French choreographer husband Benjamin Millepied while Lily-Rose Depp was brought up bilingual.

Sad news...there’s no fixed release date yet.

Until then, check out the actresses in action in the first Planetarium trailer…

It looks like 2016 is set to be the year of Lily Rose Depp. The actress has just given her 1.2 million Instagram followers a sneak peek at her role in upcoming film Planetarium, where she plays Natalie Portman’s younger sister.

It’s a seriously inspired piece of casting – the sun-drenched promotional shot, posted to Lily Rose’s Instagram account yesterday, shows an uncanny resemblance between the two stars.

A period drama directed by Rebecca Zlotowski, Planetarium tells the story of two sisters whose supernatural powers allow them to communicate with the dead. It’s set in the 1930’s (which explains Lily and Natalie’s retro dresses and loosely cropped hair in the shot) and is reportedly scheduled for release in May.

Lily Rose’s post comes just days after the rising star took to Instagram to reveal her first ever magazine cover, a dramatic and colourful shoot for Love’s February issue.

Planetarium is not the only time we’ll be spotting Lily Rose on the big screen this year: she also has roles lined up in Yoga Hosers (where she’ll be co-starring with her dad Johnny Depp) and The Dancer, in which she’ll play dance prodigy Isadora Duncan. When discussing her burgeoning career in her Love interview, she said: ‘I just know that this is what I want to do and I want to work hard at it, and hopefully keep finding roles as beautiful as the ones I’ve already come across.’
