Hollywood’s latest golden couple have arrived at the EE BAFTA Film Awards! Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet looked more loved up than ever after taking their seats for the star-studded ceremony at the Southbank Centre's Royal Festival Hall in London.
Chalamet arrived at the event solo and walked the red carpet without his new beau, with Jenner choosing not to walk the red carpet at all. However, pictures from inside the event show the couple seated together ahead of the ceremony in which Chalamet is nominated for leading actor for his Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown.
Jenner wore a black plunging dress as she held hands with Chalamet in the audience, with the couple recently going viral for another adorable clip at the German premiere for the movie. While Chalamet was receiving applause for his performance, Jenner kissed him on the cheek then sweetly rubbed off her red lipstick stain as he squeezed her leg with affection.
Truly, they are the showbiz couple of dreams. The couple started dating in spring of 2023 and have reportedly been inseparable ever since, but their lowkey approach to public appearances is not without thought. In fact, Kymothée are strategic about their It couple reputation. Earlier this year, while Jenner attended the Los Angeles premiere of A Complete Unknown, she didn’t walk the carpet with Chalamet, and he skirted round questions about her on the red carpet.
‘It’s obvious they have an agreement not to make their relationship front and centre, they clearly want to maintain their own identities,’ a source told Grazia. ‘They make a concerted effort to stay out of each other’s limelight, that’s the new way of doing things for these Gen-Z A-list couples in Hollywood. They don’t want to have to offer up every detail of their private life in exchange for publicity. They’ve seen the perils of that and how damaging it can be to a public-facing relationship.’
That said, they’re in it for the long haul, the source says. ‘A lot of people, even in their inner circle, doubted whether this would be more than a fling, including Travis [Scott], the father of her children. Kylie’s gone above and beyond to win over Timothée’s family and it’s paying off. She’s become friends with his sister Pauline and it’s very clear that they see this as a long-term relationship.’
Tonight then is just another glamorous date night for the couple that keeps on giving – keep it coming Kymothée!
