We love a pretty nail trend, and they don't come more beautiful than Pressed Flower Nails. That's right… teeny tiny pressed flowers are encapsulated within a clear gel polish. It's fresh, eye-catching and a sure-fire conversation starter.

And it turns out there's a celeb who's as much of a fan of the trend as we are. Blake Lively showcased her flower mani at the recent Free Guy premiere and took to instagram to give us an up close and personal peek of her nails.

"I’m still not over these flower pressed nails. Do you know how hard it is to take pictures of both your hands!?! My nose has come in very handy…" Blake captioned the pic on instagram.

Obsessed? We are too. Done well, the effect as a Midsummer Night's Dream level of enchantment to it. Try clear polish matched with dainty bright pink flowers for the quintessential dried flower manicure effect, or mix things up with different shade combinations. We love the idea of pairing cobalt blue flowers with tiny white ones for a porcelain print effect, or adding flecks of gold leaf into the mix to up the ante with a beautiful dose of glimmer.

So how is it done? There are two options with this look. Obviously once restrictions lift and our beloved nail salons are allowed to open again booking in a gel manicure appointment is the first port of call. Here the flowers are applied between coats of clear polish and cured under a UV lamp the usual way.

Prefer to use usual polish? Try your hand at painting on the flowers just like @imarninails has done below. Can you spot the difference?

The second option? Stick-on nails, which, as we are all aware at Grazia, are making a comeback in a big way (read more here). Preparing to go on the hunt? They are undeniably a niche product, so don't expect to find any on the high street just yet. Instead head toEtsyand search 'dried fake nails' to explore the options (we love these ones).
