What a series this has been Kings Roaders? Monday marked the end of series 22 of Made In Chelsea, and we can't quite believe how fast it has gone. Despite the show being on our screens for over 10 years, it continues to reinvent itself and keep up on the edge of our seats each week. With the help of many new faces and ongoing dramatic storylines, MIC has managed to remain in our hearts. This is British reality tv at it’s finest.
There have been many dramatic moments this series. Who could forget the very messy Ruby, Miles and Reza love triangle? Or what about Emily and Harvey’s ongoing relationship woes? We also followed poignant moments that made an impact on the audience, from Ollie and Gareth’s surrogacy journey, to Paris speaking about her experience of dating as a woman of colour. Whichever your favourite moment was this series, it’s sure to be featured on this list. Here are our top moments from this series of Made In Chelsea.
1. Maeva making James jealous with her ex... Miles.
Maeva and James' relationship was close to breaking point at the start of the series. So, naturally Maeva made him jealous by latching on to her ex Miles. She point blank asked him to have sex with her... classic Maeva.
2. The messy spin the bottle game
Now granted, we made be a little old for a game of spin the bottle…but we can see the producer’s vision here. This game caused an almighty rift after Sam Prince kissed Verity, even though he was supposed to be seeing Inga. They even did it right in front of her – SAVAGE.
3. Paris’ opening up about her experience dating as a woman of colour.
This was a historical moment for MIC, as Paris is the first woman of colour to be featured on the show, it was moving to hear her opinions on race and class.
4. Miles, Ruby and Reza going round and round in circles (or triangles)
The most messy love triangle of all time. Here’s a round up of that…
5. Paris and Inga stick together and expose Angus
When Paris and Inga teamed up to show Angus who the real Queen’s are. This was a classic girl power move and we love when women stick together!
6. Maeva's hilarious one liners
Maeva telling James that she ‘can’t stand his presence.’ This is just one of Maeva’s classic one liners, but this one took the cake.
7. Emily standing up to Harvey about his lad-like behaviour.
It was so good to see Emily put Harvey in his place..I don’t think he's put a foot wrong since that day! Miles standing up for her was very satisfying too.
8. Gareth and Ollie’s surrogacy journey.
This was a very poignant journey to follow and moved all fans of the show. Ollie is a very beloved cast member, and we are all rooting for his happily ever after.
9. The return of the dramatic dinner party
MIC has been really lacking with their dramatic dinner party content …which we don’t like. However, this one where Ruby was basically ambushed by Reza with receipts and thus catching her out in her lies was iconic.
10. Robbie’s emotional moment
Robbie opened up about PrEP - a vital medicine taken to reduce the risk of catching HIV. He also got emotional about loosing a family friend to AIDS during the epidemic in the 80's. Fans of the show praised this deeply personal moment on screen and Robbie's vulnerability.
