With almost 300,000 people applying for season three of The Traitors UK, it's unsurprising that Charlotte Berman went to extreme lengths to get her application noticed. Faking a Welsh accent, she's had quite a journey inside the castle - now making it all the way to the final. And while she's bought us plenty of memes, there's been drama aplenty too...
Last night's episode saw the mother of all twists enter The Traitors universe, after one contestant was granted the power to be a Seer: meaning they could ask whether someone was faithful or traitor ahead of the final roundtable, and they would have no choice but to answer truthfully.
Francesca was given the power of Seer, before deciding to pick Charlotte. Intending to confirm that her pal was a fellow faithful, Francesca was in for the shock of her life: although she was once a faithful, Charlotte is now a traitor after being recruited by Minah. That is, the very Minah she threw under the bus.
Following the twist, fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their reactions. Traitors HQ wrote, 'So once Francesca knows, she can then head into the castle and tell everyone Charlotte is a traitor? And then Charlotte just has to convince everyone she isn't?'
Another fan added, 'Charlotte having to tell Frankie she's a traitor whilst still having to pretend she's Welsh.'
But not everyone was so thrilled at the Seer twist. Days ago, it was anyone's game as to who might win series three of The Traitors UK. Now, some think Francesca and Charlotte's meeting might spell the end for them both.
'Really not a fan of this "Seer" twist,' wrote one. 'Frankie and Charlotte will just argue saying each other are Traitors, the Faithful will have to banish both to be 100% sure, guaranteeing a Faithful win. It's taken away any of the tension from the finale.'
Want to know more about the traitor who dethroned Minah and made it to the final? Here's everything to know about The Traitors UK series three contestant, Charlotte.
Who is Charlotte from The Traitors UK?
Charlotte is a business director from London, though she has recently moved to Hampshire. She lives there with her husband Alexander (no, not the Alexander from the show) and their pet Labrador.
'I have loved the show since the very start and think it would be such a fun thing to take part in,' she explained. 'A real "money can’t buy" experience getting to play the game.'
Why did Charlotte apply to be on The Traitors?
Charlotte was a fan long before appearing on the show as a contestant, revealing this wasn't her first shot at playing the game.
'I applied to go on series two after series one as I was such a fan from the very beginning! But I didn't hear anything back. I think series two benefited from everyone really understanding and playing the game. What I love is not only the main game, which is amazing, but all the undercurrents of secrets - I gasped when the Diane/Ross connection was revealed! It’s just such a great show,' she said.
'I’ve loved chatting about it and dissecting it with friends and colleagues, so to be actually going on it... it’s very surreal but so exciting!'
Why is Charlotte doing a fake Welsh accent?
Born and bred in London, Charlotte decided to take on one of the most stressful games on TV with a faux Welsh accent.
Her reasoning? Because it is deemed 'the most trustworthy' of the UK accents. She is pretending to be from Abergavenny in South Wales - although her mother is actually Welsh - and she managed to fool the real life Welsh contestant Elen.
However, the move has rubbed some Welsh viewers up the wrong way. One fan, Holly Ford, told NME, 'It just irritated me, to be honest. From being excited to see someone like me on the screen to then hearing it’s a lie, it’s just strange. It’s just appropriation for no apparent reason, with no regard for South Welsh people!'
How old is Charlotte from The Traitors UK?
Charlotte is 33 years old, but she was 32 during filming.
Is Charlotte a Traitor or a Faithful on The Traitors UK?
Charlotte started off season three as a faithful, however she then moved to the dark side after being recruited by Minah after Linda was banished. While Minah initially said she was choosing Charlotte as she trusted her, the fan favourite traitor was soon left eating her words - with her new recruit throwing her under the bus.

After Minah was banished, Charlotte took Freddie into the fold, before subsequently betraying him on Thursday (January 23).
But with Francesca now ready to learn Charlotte's secret, we'll have to wait until the final to know whether series three will be a win for the Faithfuls or Traitors...
What would Charlotte spend the money on?
Charlotte says if she won she would put the money towards fertility treatment, which she is starting soon.
Opening up about her plans to grow her family, Charlotte said of the prize money, 'We're looking at going through fertility treatment soon, so money towards that would be great. A safari holiday would also be incredible, because why not celebrate if I win!'
And Charlotte would also put some of the prize pot towards redecorating her colourful house, which she's shared snaps with on social media. 'We've recently moved so I would love to redecorate and bring all my saved inspo pictures to life,' she said.
Does Charlotte from The Traitors UK have Instagram?
Yes, Charlotte has Instagram and you can keep up with her there. She often shares pictures of her life with her partner Alexander, her love of hiking, and her black Labrador Alex.
