Hands up if Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday have officially been your favourite evenings of the week? Yep, us too. For those who need reminding, that's because those are the nights spent binge watching the third season of The Traitors UK, giving us our fix of tension, drama, and deception. And with the final now upon us, it'sanyone's guess as to who will win.
Alexander has certainly had quite the journey. From initially being dumped when stepping off the train to being brought back halfway through, the fan favourite Faithful is now in the final, giving him a chance take home some of the prize fund. That is, if he's able to sniff out the Traitors...
Who is Alexander? Why did he apply for The Traitors UK? Here's everything we know about Alexander…
Who is Alexander from The Traitors UK?
Alexander is a former British diplomat who lives in London. Like many of the other contestants, he hoped his career had given him the skills he needed to succeed in the game - and given he's made it to the final, it certainly seems true.
'I’d like to think I have an ability to get on with a wide range of people. I've lived around the world, working with everyone from victims of attacks or natural disasters, local tribes, schoolchildren, politicians and briefly royalty. I’m meant to build relationships for a living, so I’d like to think I have a good radar for who I can trust!,' he shared, adding that he is also 'quite resilient' - which could come in handy when it comes to all that backstabbing.
How old is Alexander from The Traitors UK?
Alexander is 38-years-old.
Why did Alexander apply for The Traitors UK?
Alexander told the BBC he applied to The Traitors UK because he loves 'doing new things' and always 'takes opportunities' where he can. 'I just finished visiting all 15 of London’s disused underground stations. When I was in Bologna recently, I went down the sewers. I went to Murmansk a couple of years ago to see the world's northernmost McDonald's and nuclear icebreaker. I've lived around the world in different countries. I hope this will be something I’ll enjoy... and if not, it’ll be something new!' he said.
What happened to Alexander on The Traitors UK?
Alexander appeared on our screens in the first episode of The Traitors UK season three. But in a shocking twist, one player on each carriage of the train headed to the castle had to leave, as only 22 players could begin the game. Alexander was one of the players who sacrificed his position to help the other players win up to £10,000.
True to style, viewers were treated to another twist when Alexander, along with the other sacrificed players, Jack and Fozia, returned to the show the following week.
Is Alexander a Traitor or a Faithful on The Traitors UK?
Alexander returned to The Traitors as a faithful with Fozia. Amongst the twists and turns being thrown at us, viewers were quick to point out that Jack, Alexander and Fozia were all in the same clothes that they had been wearing when they stepped off the train close to a week ago.
‘Why are they still wearing the same clothes 4 days later,’ one user posted on X. ‘Right I'm gonna sound dumb, how come they were still in the same clothes as they were on day one?’ wrote another. Some users suggested it was to make it look like the trio had been waiting around since leaving the train.
Despite the Traitors making their recruits, Alexander managed to make it all the way to the final as a Faithful.
